Well I am a 25 year old mother of a beautiful little 8 1/2 month old boy! He amazes me everyday by what he is learning to do. They grow up so fast. He and my husband are the two best things that have ever happened to me. I love them so much and could not imagine my life without either of them! It is an absolute joy to be a mom. I am not pushy or am I going to put somone down. I don't believe in letting my baby Cry-it-Out, I believe that if he is crying there is a reason and I will find it and make him happy. I just recently lost my mom on January 23, 2009. That was one of the hardest things I have had to go through. I miss her so much but I know she is mine and my son's gaurdian angel now. I LOVE YOU MOM RIP!!

  • For mommies to 6 month old I need some answers!!?

My son turns 6 months old on the 18th of this month. My question is how much is your little 6 month old drinking (oz of a bottle) and how long are they going between bottles. Also just for fun, what are some of the milestones your baby has reached? Just curious to see how other babies are developing.

  • 5 month old will not sleep in crib?

My son just turned 5 months old yesterday. I have been trying to get him to sleep in his crib for almost 3 months. He is still sleeping in his bassinet (which he is growing out of now) and will not sleep nowhere else. How do you get them to sleep in their crib. I have tried everything. I have even put the crib in my room, taken the wall off that lifts up and down and attached it to my bed to see if that would help. Nothing is working. He can be sound asleep and as soon as I lay him in his crib he wakes up screaming. I have let him cry thinking he will go back to sleep but he doesn't. I rock him back to sleep and put him in his bassinet and he sleeps all night. Help me what am I going to do he is getting too big for the bassinet???????

  • Has anyone else had this happen?

When my baby boy was 3 months old I had to have my gallbladder removed. The surgeon said it was very commen for women that just had a baby to have this problem. Has anyone else had this surgery after having a baby and what was your experience. Mine was horrible, my husband went out to work the same day after I had my surgery. Then the next day went out of town for 3 days. I begged him not to go but he said I was being selfish and that my mom and grandma could stay with me and help with the baby. I was in so much pain due to just having an emergency c-section 2 1/2 months prior to my gallbladder surgery. I had alot of complications with the birth of my child and then a surgery on top of that, my husband was not very understanding. I was just looking for some input on other experiences.

  • How much formula is your 4 month old eating?

My son is 4 months old. This is his schedule:

8:30-9 am - 3 oz of formula and rice and bananas mixed

12-12:30pm - 4 oz of formula with 1 teaspoon of rice( for his acid reflux)

    3-3:30 pm - 3-4oz of milk

    6:30pm - 3-4oz of milk

8:30-9pm - 4-5 oz of milk with 4-5 teaspoons rice cereal

So basicly he is eating 20-22 oz of milk a day. He sleeps all night so he gets nothing thruout the night. He is about 16-17 pounds and 27-28 inches long. We go for his 4 month old shots on thursday. Just need some input.

Growing out of his bassinet. I will have him sound asleep and go to lay him in his crib and he will wake up screaming and crying and not go back to sleep. We were up and down all night last night and finally I just put him in the bed with me and my husband so I could get some sleep. I need help. How did you get your baby to sleep in the crib? I even moved the crib into my room in the exact same spot the bassinet was in.
