We filed & got accepted the 16th, using Taxbrain. Original DD BY date was 2/1, then bumped back to a BY 2/8 date. Spoke to an IRS rep today and was told that the Child Tax Credit was computed wrong, over by about $200. This kicked out our return and sent it to error processing & it had to be done by hand. It was fixed, but delayed. Now set for an actual DD date of 2/4, even though WMR still doesn't have any info.

Just thought you'd like to know what the possible cause is. Like I said, we used Taxbrain, so it seems that there was a computation error in their software, nothing we did. So, hopefully all of you who got bumped will get your refunds DD on Friday!

Anyone else get bumped back a week? If so, I'd like to keep this question open to see if anyone still gets their DD close to the original timeframe of late this week or early next week, since it seems like DDs are happening every day, not just thursdays or fridays. I wish they wouldn't just bump people like that at the last minute, this happened to us (and so many others) last year as well.

I filed using Taxbrain and am having fees taken out of refund. Just wondering if, when checking the SBBT site, they only update refund info for you after it has already been sent to your accout or if they update in real time when your refund is received from the IRS. I tried to contact them to ask and they couldn't tell me. Hoping that someone here has experience with SBBT and their refund status site. Thanks!

I'm one of those unfortunate ones who filed early w/ the IRS (1/27) and received a tentative DD date on WMR for 2/9 but had it bumped back a week to 2/16, as of last week Tuesday. As of today, I still only see an estimated DD date of 2/16, but not an actual DD date. I spoke to 3 different people last week and only one of them gave me an actual DD date of 2/12, however it is not showing that on WMR or when I call the hotline.

I guess what I want to know is if you are one of those who got bumped and have an actual DD date or have received your refund or is it normal for WMR & the hotline not to state an actual DD date until Wed or Thurs of the week you are supposed to receive your refund?
