Cant feel Mirena String on day 4 of having it inserted?
Just looking for some help of course its after hours so i can't call my doctor yet but i will tomorrow if i still cant feel anything. I had it inserted last friday morning which ended up pretty well (not to much cramping, bleeding etc) My boyfriend and i had intercourse on saturday night which after i was able to feel the string, and since then have had intercourse a couple of times. This morning though we had intercourse and since then i havent been able to feel the string?
How normal is this? has anyone had this happen before? I will call my doctor in the morning but in the mean time i dont want to panic if this has happened to someone before ... im not in pain.. no heavy bleeding all seems pretty normal..(at least the normal ive experienced in the last couple days)
Any helpers?
Thanks so much
1 AnswerWomen's Health1 decade ago2 year old hurting herself at bed time?
My daughters 2 years old and for the last 2 years has had the same bedtime routines and had no problems. my boyfriend and i went away last weekend and since then she has been throwing these horrible tantrums at bedtime and has been smacking her head so hard on the floor she now has a huge bruise and its swollen out. I need some advise shes thrown the odd tantrum here and there but nothing like this. Recently she started to potty train and has has been doing amazing this is her 2nd month with no mistakes.. at bed time she tries to say she has to pee about 20-30 times.. of course we put her on the potty she goes normally before bed and thats it we will bring her out and try when she says but we know its a game.
we are in some need of help we dont want her hurting herself obvisiously and its getting out of hand. we've tried keeping her up later and it just makes her extremely tired and worse. we try putting her to bed earlier and she screams for an hour or more. this is her first heat wave and we are keeping her cool so we dont know what else is the problem. She eats well and sleeps well normally.. when she falls asleep shes out for the night but its the getting to sleep thats the problem with these fits.
Thanks so much in advance!
2 AnswersToddler & Preschooler1 decade agoWhats the longest time you've let your child "cry it out"?
Our daughters 19 months and was always a great sleeper and still is as long as we stay in the room with her until she falls asleep... we've let her cio in the past but she really only whined for 5 min and fell asleep.. now its totally different but we cant keep sleeping her room and we definitley dont want her sleeping in ours.
I dont want to hear "cio" is bad dont do it.. this is not an opinion question this is a question for people who let their kids cio and for how long.
Thanks!
11 AnswersNewborn & Baby1 decade agoHow to make my toddler stay in bed?
Last monday we just moved and had to put my 19 month old in her toddler bed as she kept trying to climb out of her crib, All in a day she had a few major changes plus now she getting another molar or two in. She use to fall asleep fine on her own sometimes she'd fuse for a min or two but otherwise it was fine..
Now.. she falls asleep fine but only if we are in the room with her, once shes asleep shes asleep sometimes she wakes up between 1-3 once which then i have to go downstairs and put her back into bed lie beside her(on the floor) and wait until she falls asleep. This is how we have to get our sleep and make sure she gets her's .. if we dont lie on the floor or sit in her room until shes asleep she stands at the door banging and screaming.
Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated, i'm use to the lack of sleep but with the move last week and still having to work during the day at my job and on weekends at my other job at the bar i don't know how long i can do it for...(my boyfriend tries to do it with my daughter to give me a break but shes also in her "mommy" stage right now.. oh the joys =) ..lol)
thanks in advance for your help!

4 AnswersToddler & Preschooler1 decade agoIs it normal for a 16 month old to play with her "whowho"?
My daughter is 16 month old and im new at the girl thing...(well not new as my daughter is 16 months) but i have 4 nephews ranging from 4-12 years old and this was the first girl in the family. Since about a year she got the curiosity of her "whowho" (we call the vagina her whowho) for the past few weeks shes ALWAYS touching it and playing wtih it and we tell her no but shes only 16 months theres only so much you can say to her that she understands.
i know with my nephew they were constantly playing with their "birds" but i dont remember when that started...
my question is...is it normal for this age? or could their be something bugging her about it(yeast infection) ..she had a yeast infection before from her bubble bath and would get a rash from it she has no rash nothing seems wrong(it is a little red but she plays with it every chance she can get)
Any help would be great..thanks in advance!
12 AnswersNewborn & Baby1 decade agoDoes anyone happen to know daycare re: roseola?
My daughter just started going to daycare 2 weeks ago and just got roseola again... shes done with the fevers and has had the rash for a day and a half now but will the daycares let her go back tomorrow morning??
Apparently according to my doctor the contagious part starts before the fever which was last wednesday. (i am going to call the daycare i just wanted to know personal experience)
1 AnswerNewborn & Baby1 decade agoBaby poop question(sorry tmi)?
Ive notice in the last week or so my daughter has had a lil bit runnier poops then normal.. shes 15 months old and her poops have never been completely solid even though shes been eating our food since around 9 months. I asked her doctor before and she said it was normal with the milk and formula .. but the last week ive been noticing alot more of what she eats in her poop(for instance she had some grapes and blueberries this morning and she had some not full but almost in her bowel movement) im so sorry to be giving this kinda detail but i just need to know if its something i should worry about or if it is normal like her doctor said..
What does your son/daughters bowel movements look like at this age....she eats extremely well and extremely heathly.. with the occasional french fry or something not soo soo healthy.
Again sorry for the TMI.. but i dont know if i should worry..
Thanks
