  • Lately my dog comes inside and poops on the floor.?

He would be outside for about two hours and when he comes in, 5 minutes later, he poops on the floor. This is a recent thing, as he has not done this before. I have not been able to catch him in the act of pooping, otherwise I would have grabbed him and scolded him and thrown him outside so he can finish his business.

I'm starting to think he is upset about something, but I could be wrong.

  • I picked this statue up at a garage sale today, I would like to identify it.?

It is of three people. two men and one woman. There is a man crouched underneath (looking in woe) the other man, who is lifting a woman who has her arm outstretched to the sky. The three people are artistically nude. It reminds me of a Roman or Greek statue, but do not know who the characters are, or what the story is behind their poses....You can see the statue at:

    http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w5/pharbach/sta...

Warning: the subject matter is of nudity. Artfully nudity at that. No porn here, but if you do not wish to view, please don t....but I am curious about this statue and the story that goes with it!

    Thanks for your help !

Also......where can I see the original of this sculpture, as the womans thumb is broken off. I am planning to mold this sculpture to make a copy or two......for myselft.........

  • Need to find a shop to install an aftermarket cruise control in Orlando, FL?

I just bought a 2010 Nissan Sentra that does not have factory cruise control installed.

I really want cruise controI in this vehicle.

will be ordering an aftermarket Rostra Cruise Control Kit to install into my vehicle.

I need to find a place in the Orlando, FL area who are experienced in installing Rostra Cruise Control Kits.

I have looked around the web to find such a place, but am unable to locate a shop that will install the aftermarket kit.

I don't think I would trust Best Buy to install it, or for that matter, Pep Boys.

Any help or specifics would be appreciated!

  • How do I stop my dog from attacking the windsheild whenever I put the wipers on?

Whenever I put on the wipers when it starts to rain, My 3 year old adopted male neutered Old English Sheepdog attacks the windsheild violently and aggressively with incessant barking.

Needless to say this causes alot of anxiety and stress to all who are inside the vehicle, and poses a safety hazard to driving.

I have since strapped him to a safety harness so he cannot lunge, but he continuously barks and gets stressed out when the wipers are operating.

How do I cure this anxiety/aggressive conditioning?

  • My dog has behavioural issues, what to do?

I adopted my second Old English Sheepdog recently. He is three years old and neutered. I don't know too much of his past experiences except the fact that he was an owner turn-in because the owner became too ill to care for the dog.

The issue with the dog is that he attacks the windsheild whenever the wipers are turned on. Especially when the wipers are on intermittent wipe mode. He doesn't expect the next time they wipe.

His lunging at the windsheild is very unsafe, both to him and me, as I am driving. I don't want to get into an accident because he is ADHD!

I have thought about using a harness for him while he is in the seat, but he would probably get tangled up with my other dog, who usually just sits there, as he he is six years old and laid back and causes no problems whatsoever.

Note: he also tends to bark inside the house at night when there is NO apparent sound. My other dog also barks, but only when the sound is apparent, like a next door slamming door, or if someone is at my door.

Otherwise, the new dog is a good dog. Very attentive, a good walker (although he likes to sniff at EVERYTHING on walks.......my first dog does not do this too often) , and a velcro dog (follows me EVERYWHERE around the house!).....He's just VERY ADHD. He can't stay focused for too long.....

What kind of behaviour modification can I use on this young adult dog?

What do you think about employing a training shock collar with this behavioural issue?

.....Or is this method too harsh??

  • Why does my dog bark around dogs for no apparent reason?

I have no problem with my 5 1/2 year old Old English Sheepdog barking inside the house or while walking him (which I adopted in January of 2013). He normally barks inside when the door bell rings, or he hears a strange noise outside, which is normal, and a reaction that I want him to have.....but other than that, he is a well mannered, balanced dog at home. I like the fact that he is easy going at home, doesn't ruin my furniture, and is a pleasure to be around......

But when I take him to a dog park where there are other dogs, he will stand in the midst of them and bark inseccently....(sorry for the misspelling) . He is not showing aggression, as he just stands there and barks. No teeth are bared.....Other dogs try to interact with him (which I would like), but are turned off and get false signals (I believe) because of his barks, which I see as not directed at anything or anybody..... I sense the owners get a little ticked off too because of his barking behaviour.....

I am beginning to feel that he is feeling some type of anxiety about something, but I am not sure WHAT it is! If it IS anxiety, I would like to find out what is causing it.........

The option of NOT taking him to a dog park is out of the question, as he seems to enjoy running around free to explore. (So don't just suggest I don't take him to a dog park anymore!)

Would it be a good idea to consult with a dog behaviourist to see what is causing him to bark around other dogs? Sometimes I have to get him out of the situation while at the dog park, as it causes me to be embarrassed because he barks like this. I move him to another area of dogs so he can "bother" other dogs and their owners.......LOL.........

Any help would be welcomed and put into use......

    Thanks.....

  • How to remove red stains from my dogs beard?

I have an Old English Sheepdog that has red staining on his beard. I use filtered water in stainless steel or ceramic bowls for the water.

I feed him a high quality grain-free dry dog food with NO artificial coloring or additives.

I have tried to mildly bleach his beard with diluted hydrogen peroxide or lemon juice, but it doesn't stay there long because he promptly licks it off and starts grooming himself to get rid of the yucky taste!

I have tried to use white (and apple cider) vinegar in his water, but he is very reluctant to drink it because it smells vinegary.

I don't want to mask the beard hair with bluing or chalk or corn starch, as the red staining is just covered up.

I would rather not give him Angels Eyes as a food additive, as he doesn't need a low-level dose of anti-biotics all of the time, making for resistant strains later on......

What is the best method to remove (and continue to have no) red stains on a dogs beard?

No, clipping beard is NOT an option!!

I don't want to mask the stain with anything, I just want the staining to vanish!!

    Thanks for your help!

  • How do I stop my dog from barking at the dog park?

I recently adopted an Old English Sheepdog who is at least 5 years old. I have been told by a dog behaviourist that he is a well balanced dog.

He is very good on his leash, as I can walk him loose-leashed and he heels very well.......

He likes to go to a large dog park near where I live. He gets along very well with other dogs with no aggressive behaviour at all. He seems to be very well socialized.

I have him off-leash at the dog park, as all the other dogs are off-leash.

When he is in a group of dogs who are just walking around in the park, he will just stand there and bark among them, like he is saying "here I am".

At least I THINK that is what he is doing. I am not 100% positive for his motive for this barking.......

He does not bark at one particular dog, he just barks in the midst of them and stands there barking.

When I feel that the other dogs (and dogs owners) have had enough, I will call him to move to a different area so they can get some "relief" from his barking, to "bother" another group of dogs and their owners.........LOL.....

When he is with one or two other dogs, or by himself at the dog park, he won't bark at all, just sniff and greet them. He enjoys running on the paths in the wooded section of the park and likes to go shoulder deep in the lake that is in the park.

I would really like him to stop this "here I am" barking. Or at least keep it to a minimum. I realize that his breed is instinctual for herding. Is this why he barks in a group of other dogs?

At home, he only barks when he hears a strange sound outside or someone is at the door, and then only barks once or twice, which for me, is acceptable. I want to let anyone at the door I have a dog in the house.....

How do I minimize or eliminate his barking when he is in a group of other dogs?

  • What is the differences between the eGo CE5, CE6 Electronic Cigarette Systems?

Currently I use an eGo CE5 E-Cigarette system that I am satisfied with. I see eGo CE6 marketed.

What is the main difference between these two systems and are parts, like the atomizer coil head interchangeable?

I have also seen eGo CE5+, and eGo CE V2........are these parts, like the clearomizer, and coil head atomizer interchangeable between ALL versions of the CE5 and/or CE6?

What is the advantage of the CE6 over the CE5?

I would like to know because I do not want to order things that don't fit my eGo CE5 system.......

    ........Thanks!!!

  • How do I get my Old English Sheepdog to be more active?

I recently adopted a (at least) 5 year old Old English Sheepdog January 1st. He has been checked by my vet and has a clean bill of health. I feel he is a little gaunt (skinny) and want him to fill out at least a little more. I don't want a fat dog in the least! I just want him at a good weight and in good physical shape. Right now he is shaved and weighs 76 lbs. He is a tall-framed Old English Sheepdog. I supplement his diet with glucosamine and chondroitin and Vitamin C, as suggested by my vet.

My perception of an Old English Sheepdog is that of being active, even until they reach 10 years old. I have seen older Sheepdogs romp and play and play tug rope. They also have a happy disposition.

My adopted dog seems to lay around all day. I take him for walks after I get home from work and to the dog park as often as I can. He interacts with other dogs fine. His fastest speed is that of a slow gallop to fast trot. He doesn't seem to want to exert himself too much in my opinion. He also seems bored at home, unless I give him a beef bone to chew on....

I realize he is not a puppy any more.....am I expecting too much from him?

Am I the one who has a perception problem? Is this NORMAL for this dog at this age to just want to lay around? Otherwise, he is a gentle dog who walks well and is house broken. He follows basic commands well.

How do I get this dog to be more active while inside the house? Is it really necessary for him to be more active when he is inside? Do I need to add anything to his diet to make him more active? Do I need to change my relationship with him for him to be more active? What should my tall-framed fullly grown Old English Sheepdog weigh? Does he need to gain MORE weight? I plan to have him grow out his full coat in the months ahead......

I know........I ask LOTS of questions! Try to answer most of them, if you can.....

    Any help would be appreciated!

  • Where can I find a reputable exotic or small animal veterinarian in the Orlando Florida area?

I have a lionhead rabbit that I have had for about 6 months. I am concerned with her behaviour and wanted to check to see if she had been spayed or not. I live in the Orlando area and all of the exotic/small animal veterinarians have either a low or sketchy reviews online. The reviews say to STAY AWAY from these three small animal clinics. Who am I to believe? Can one really get good care for a rabbit in the Orlando, FL area?? Who do you recommend? Who do you trust??

    I would like to know!!

    Thanks!
