  • Reception at your home?

My fiance and I are doing a courthouse wedding, that is turning into a super fancy courthouse wedding. We are only having 9 people come and next year we are doing a renewal big wedding. It doesn't make sense to rent out a hall for 12 people including us and our daughter. Is it tacky to have it at our house after wards? If you have any suggestions I would really appreciate it. (Someone told me to go to a restaurant)

  • both sets of parents dont want you to get married.. are they right?

A little background. The couple has a 9 month old daughter. They live together, pay all of their bills, and are middle class. The guys family didn't want them to move in together, and definitely not raise the baby together. The girls parents were supportive till wedding was mentioned. The couple does not have enough money for a real wedding, and the girls parents are practically broke. So they decided to plan a small courthouse wedding for this year and save for the real thing next spring. No one supports them. Is there something the couple doesn't see or are people just self centered and cant see their children are happy?

  • fish floating straight up and down?

My dalmation molly is floating with head in air, moving side to side. Other 2 mollies and platy are avoiding him. i just did a water change tonight and my nitrite levels were a little stressed. What could it be and should I separate into a different tank so the others do not get it? Thanks

  • breasts leaking 4 months after stopping breastfeeding?

I stopped breastfeeding in January because they literally dried up. No milk has come out since then, and they felt fine. yesterday and today I have excruciating pain in my right breast, and milk came out of both of them. I had unprotected sex the day before I got my period and my period ended two days before this happened. Could I be pregnant or are my breasts still not fully dry? Sorry tmi just want to see if others had this happen

  • Just want other opinions :)?

my husband has asthma and our 8 month old daughter is beginning to wheeze. She has an appt today so we will know if she has asthma yet or not. Some people have told us most likely our other kids will have asthma too, or there is a good chance at least one more can have it. I have seen my husband first hand having an attack, he almost died if I didn't set up his machine in time. He has told me that when he was little he couldn't participate in certain sports, but now they have medicine that they didn't have when he was little. Am I selfish to want to bring other children into this world that could possibly have asthma? Some people act as if asthma is hiv or life-threatening. And I know that some people with asthma do not pass it to their offspring. Thanks for reading :)

I have 3 mollies in my tank and I wanted to add some more fish/ creatures. Was going to add a snail but heard about the overpopulating so decided otherwise. What kind of fish are compatible? And can I add frogs, shrimp etc. Thanks for the help! :)

I had a baby almost 8 months ago and I started this new workout monday called insanity. For anyone who hasn't heard of it, it is very hard! I pushed myself because I want to lose this weight as fast as possible.Last night I was doing the jog, my lower legs ( guessing shins) started killing me and now I cant walk at all. I cant even touch my shins it hurts so bad. My husband said there is no cure other than rest, but I wanted to see if anyone had some advice. I can't exactly rest with an 8 month old lol Thanks in advance!

  • different contraceptives?

I have tried 3 different birth controls, all of which make me extremely depressed and mid cycle bleeding, along with bad stomach pains. Since I had my daughter who is now 6 months I can not use condoms, they are uncomfortable and chafe really bad. Im afraid to use the nuva ring but I don't see any other options other than absence, which I turned to and is now destroying my marriage. Ugh anyone have problems like me? Need mature advice

  • anyone else have this happen?

I have a 6 month old baby and I am now taking lo estrin 24 birth control. The last two months I have been getting my period mid way, but very light, lasting 4-5 days and then at the end of the cycle 4-5 days heavier. Even being on birth control, most of the time my husband pulls out but I can't figure out what is going on. Going to the doctors in 3 weeks, earliest they had. Anyone else ever had this happen?

  • My husband wants another baby?

We just had our 1st daughter and she is now 6 months old. Everytime we have sex, I'm on birth control, he always says he wants another baby and wouldn't care if I accidentally got pregnant. We have the means to take care of another one, but I don't know if Im entirely ready. But when I bring it up to him later on the next morning, he avoids the question. (one time I did say I wanted a baby after drinking a little, baby was at grandmas) I really want another baby but maybe later. Mostly the reason is, I'm afraid my family will get upset, they want us to wait and I also feel if I'm pregnant and moody I won't be as good a mother to my daughter. how long should I wait to have the next one? Please only parents answer

  • My 6 month old daughter has RSV. Does this mean she will be hospitalized?

I took my daughter to the doctors today because she had a fever and would not eat and was coughing a lot. The doctor said she has RSV, told me to use a humidifier and give her tylenol if she gets a fever back. As soon as we got home, she got worse. She is extremely congested and I have been suctioning her nose and attempting to feed her a bottle. They told me to give her pedialyte but she wont even let me put the bottle in her mouth. I used saline drops right before she fell asleep. Is she going to end up in the hospital? Does this mean she will develop asthma? My husband has asthma and I noticed most parents give their baby albuterol treatments, and I know that is the treatment he uses for his asthma. Thanks for your help Im a first time mom and in desperate need of answers.
