Since race engines have to last two full race weekends, will Kimi hurt his engine on it's first weekend on his way to a win?The second weekends will be what cost him the championship because he will have to limp home on reduced RPM to a third or fourth or start from the back due to his engine change.

Is this how it will go down?

Can he win the championship like this? If no, who then?

F1 races only pay points for the first 8 finishers. First place getting 8 points, second place 7 and so on. Should NASCAR do the same thing giving points only to the top 15 or 20 places?

I think that it would lead to a much more exciting season and keeps the points much closer. What does everyone else think?

Is that not part of the problem with our political system? Since there are no viable third or fourth options, those two are just competing against eachother without regard for the people of this country. I have "thrown my vote away" as long as I have been able to vote by voting Libertarian or someone who actually seems to care about us. Can a two party system really serve the people's best interests or will they always just try to beat the other party?
