  • Have you experienced similar intimacy problems?

I've had this problem for a very long time now. I am engaged, and next month will have been together for 10 years. Our intimacy started decreasing significantly about 4 years ago...to where we were only at about 1x per month. In 2012, we only had maybe once every three months. And now...it's been an entire YEAR since the last time. I actually started marking my calendar in 2012 to start documenting the infrequency.

I have tried several things to spice up our love life, but have been repeatedly rejected. At this point it's taken it's toll on me and I was seriously considering moving out because I'm so unhappy. The rejection has made me feel less than desirable and I don't know how to improve our situation together. Some of my friends agree that breaking it off is the best idea...and some think we should go to couples counseling to get to the root of the problem. He's never been very good at talking so when I try to bring the issue up he changes the subject or doesn't wish to engage in conversation....I don't really know how to move forward. Has anyone else found themselves in this situation? What did you do?

If you haven't been in this situation, what do you think is the right thing to do?

  • How to remove pigeons?

I live at a large high rise and we are trying to figure out a way to get rid of the pigeons! They are laying eggs and nesting on the ledges. We have the areas cleaned and applied repellent but it isn't working..at all. They don't want to put up spikes because they think it will make the building look undesireable. Is there any other way to get rid of these flying rats?

  • How do I find out if I am eligible for traffic school?

I got a speeding ticket a few weeks ago, and I never received the "courtesy notice" in the mail. The traffic ticket website's FAQ section says to refer to your courtesy notice to see if you are eligible for traffic school. Is there any other way of finding out if I'm eligible?

Also - I was going 85 in a 65 mile zone. Does anyone know how many points that would be on my driving record?

  • I have an extremely HEAVY period.....is there something wrong with me?

I have always had an abnormal periods. However, for the past year my periods have been fairly normal and coming in every month.

Well, this time around it is flowing like crazy. I am wearing super absorbent tampons combined with really large pads, and I still bled through my pants. It only started today and I already went through an 18 pack of tampons and pads. When I change it seems to be flowing out still and getting everywhere. I know this is so gross, but I wouldn't be here if I didn't think it might be something serious. Should I see a doctor? I feel a little light headed but other than that, there aren't any other symptoms in addition to the heavy bleeding.

I'm a little freaked out though. Is this normal? What should I do?

  • What should I do about a job I wasn't paid for over a year ago?

There was a misunderstanding with my time card, and a temp agency never paid me for the two days of work I put in. I gave up after a while because of all the nonsense I was going through to get paid. I went back and forth with the company through email for about 6 months. Their final email stated that they would resolve the issue and send me the check. Here we are, over a year later and still nothing!!! Should I do anything about this? Is it worth it? Can I take any legal action? It really isn't that much money, it's just the principle! Any help would be great. Thank you!

  • Advise please? Career change needed...?

So, I feel I have wasted the last 12 years of my life working towards nothing. I have had long-term jobs, gotten promotions and high recommendations, which was all fine and dandy.

Well, I've been at my current job for about just over a year now, and it is in the same realm of work I have always done (customer service) and the company has decent benefits, and decent pay but little room for advancement and it's extremely stressful! I so much want to get out of this field and work towards something that I love. Problem is, I am a musician and have kept evening's open to play shows / practice etc. so going to school at night would mean giving up something ELSE I love and something that also brings in supplemental income.

I am thinking of quitting my day job and schooling full time. But how? Any suggestions? Can I live on financial aid alone for 2 years? I don't know what to do but I can't keep forcing myself to do something I do not enjoy. Life is too short and I don't want to miss my train.

FYI: I want to go to school for cosmetology OR web design. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

  • Why do people rinse chicken?

I saw on the Food Network that this was not necessary to do. Prior to that, I never even thought to rinse my chicken. I saw my mother last night and she FREAKED out when I told her I never rinsed before cooking. What is the deal? I need a straight answer because previous answers to this question flip flopped a lot. Thanks all!

Also, please include any valuable resources for information if possible.

  • My periods are REALLY heavy and last 14 days (sometimes more)?

I don't think this is normal. What should I do? I bleed really heavily. My cramps are the worst. Why a 14 day period? I thought it would stop eventually.

This has been going on for the last 6 periods. It was normal prior to that. What could have changed this? I had no significant change in weight or eating habits.

  • What kind of legal action can be taken for a VERY late paycheck?

I did a temporary assignment about a year ago, and I still have not been paid for it. Last January to be exact. To work this job, I had to pay for specific business attire (a crisp white shirt and black slacks) AND had to pay $10.00 to park at the hotel.

The company I was contracted to work with, did not provide time cards. They said that they would be available the next morning but I already had it previously planned NOT to work that day - so I did not obtain the "signed" time card. I informed my temp agency of this and they said they would just verify my hours with them. They emailed me letting me know I should be seeing my check in the mail soon, It never came.

About a month later, I called to let her know the issue. She advised it was a problem with payroll and it would be resolved asap.

3 months later, NOTHING. I contact her supervisor, who assures me this will be handled accordingly...

Here we are ONE YEAR LATER, and I haven't seen a check nor heard from the company.

What should I do??? It isn't that much money. It is literally about $50.00 MINUS what I was forced to spend to do the job. It's more about the principle!

  • Wisdom Tooth Pain? - please help!!!?

I have my wisdom teeth growing in and it has been hurting for the past couple days. I haven't been able to sleep tonight because the throbbing pain is driving me mad. I took 3 extra strength tylenol even though you are only supposed to take two but STILL no relief!

I have no insurance. Last year when I went to the dentist he said that I needed those teeth removed asap because one was growing in sideways - although it never bothered me at the time. I only had enough insurance to get one procedure done and I lost my job. I need help. Any info on assistance programs in San Diego, CA?

Or even ways to relieve the pain. Tylenol isn't working at all.

  • I am being sued for an old credit card debt??? $3,200.00?

What are my options? The law firm who called was trying to urge me to pay it today (the first time I have heard of it being collected) and I am broke. She said I made a payment in 2006 (which I do not recall) - last payment I remember was in 2003. I am on unemployment. I offered to make payments and she said "Nope, you're getting sued", then she hung up on me!!!

    1) Can they garnish my unemployment wages?

    2) What are my options?

    3) Original debt was only $1,200, but they tacked fees on. Anything I can do about that?

Please help! 10 points to the best answer.

  • How would you answer this question? I can't think of specifics and I know employers hate that.?

I got an early list of questions that will be asked for an upcoming interview and I am stuck on this one...

What job responsibilities do you find to be most frustrating? Why?

I never really thought of a job responsibility as "frustrating", so I am having a hell of a time trying to find an example.

  • I received another 1099-R?

I had a 401k and I rolled it over to an IRA, then later cashed my IRA out.

I withheld 15% for taxes and I still owe $351. I later received another 1099-R from my 401K account before it was rolled over. Is entering this information going to change the amount I owe? How do I amend my taxes?
