i got my little 6week old kitten on monday and she still wont use the litter box, its like she is scared of it. i cant tell when she has to go and the first time she went was in the corner of my room now thats where she always trys to go so i moved the box there, now she just goes right out side the box but i always catch her and just move her into the box and she continues in the box. i dont punish her or anything i just move her and if she goes in there i praise her. i dont know if she has bad memories in there or is just scared of texture, its corncob btw. but i just have no clue what to do but just keep moving her into it

we were give a female lab that gave birth last spring when we got her she had ear mites and it was obvious she was not well taken care of but she is the nicest dog ever! but she bites at her breasts allot and they are still extremly saggy. is this normal, we got her after she had the puppies we just got her last month

sooo im kinda a hypochondriac....and i got this dog from my uncle and she has ear mites we just found out tonight and i have one other dog. last night i didnt no she had ear mites and i lest her sleep in my bed.....we have only had her for a week and this was the only night i let her sleep with my normally she sleeps on the leather couch or cage... what are my chances? i am already washing everything in my room btw....... tomorrow we are going to get the stuff for her ears and probably will treat both dogs just incase.....gosh guys i really dont want mites! i would kill myself! ahhaha even though ive grown up on a farm all my life and race horses i still hate bugs! i have nightmares 24/7 cause of them! please help and thank you!

i always thought they used a special shoe of protective thingy, i bet i sound really dumb but i know in mackinac island there cart horses have thick rubber carbine shoes, i have a mini horse x shetland and eventually i want to take him on a buggy ride thats 13 or 14 miles there and back, my mom says his feet are amazingly tough but still i would rather be safe that sry lol

so here is my main question what do the amish use as foot wear on there buggy horses?

i have a mini horse x shetland pony, i will be training him for a buggy soon but just wondering how long can they pull for? ps i 110 lbs

there is a tack store 7miles away from me, eventually would he be able to pull to there? i would have the proper foot stuff on him i forget what they call them lol and i would be able to give him a 15 min. break with water when we arrive there(ps i wouldn't ask him to do this for a good 2yrs lol but he is a very calm and smart pony.)

soo would you rather keep your horses at a relatives house because your barn is horrible and you have no arena, and at your cousins house they are always moving your stuff gettin bridles confused, not locking the gate properly(there entire property is fenced) but the horses get out and eat al your expensive grain, but my uncle is really good at helping me with my horse, and they have nice cattle and nice chutes. or would you rather have your own decent barn with all ours stuff same amount of property but the river isn't by you to ride through, there is still a woods you have a decent house you can work with the horses when ever you want dont have to worry about someone taking your saddle pad and bridles, but your not by your friend who also rides and you have no cable, but do have internet and netflix you would have to move schools again most likely, but you wont have as nice of an arena but you will still have one, but this is going to cut money really tight. and i would eventually need to get a trailer for at least 3 horses maybe i could get my with two but it would be really hard.

i mean what would you do? right now i have choose number 1, its really hard doing this there are also personal reasons why i want number 2. just honestly what should i do? ps its not that far away so i could just trailer over once and awhile and rope (ps i barrel race and rope)

ok sooooo like i use a tie down, sharon camarillo uses one. if you dont know who she is wow.... lol sry but i know plenty of professionals who use one, that's in rodeo, i rope and contest and i have a very high every hot horse that is 22 and me being no body builder really finds them use full cause it gives me more leverage to rate, and stop my horse after a breakaway catch. so please dont say that if you use one your lazy and a horrible rider you are totally depleting the entire rodeo community and i would never do that to your discipline some horses need one extremely badly. on my other horse that i taught barrels and poles, i typically dont run him in a tie down because it is not needed. also fallon taylor and ty mitchell race in tie downs and some of there horses and they are both very good riders.

BQ- so tomorrow i need to go out and work with my mini, but for this one thing i need to do he needs a treat, my mom forgot to pick them up today and it is way to late now, but tomorrow the only time i will have to work with him will be before she gets back from work, i have lettus, celery, cuccumbers, and bread. lol yupp it sucks! i will only have to feed it to him tomorrow we are getting alfalfa cubes as soon as we can. we might have dry quaker oatmeal. so please hepl! is any of this not safe? have you fed your horse ay of these? what should i use?

to keep flies of my horse can i weave tansy flowers into his braids? i know tansy flowers can be used as an insect repelant, but i also her they can be harmful too horses if ingested, but its not like i would feed them to him! but i gues if he is hitched to the trailer and another horse ate them out of his braid but i really dont see a horse doing that.......lol whats ur opinion?

how should i treat my horse's dandruff? someone said use baby oli but someone also said flax seed, then if its still needed a type of lotion (he gave me a link). so what i think ill do is start giving him some flax seed with his grain daily. (but we also give him a b12 vitamin in his grain will this have any affect on that?) and if i dont see an improvement on his skin after that then i will look more into the lotion idea.

ps he is a pasture horse and is brought into the paddock pen for about 4-6hrs a day with water in both the pasture and paddock.

well i was looking at theses boot they have good reviews and seem like a cheeper option to the pros choice and well i have to pay for my own boots for my horse..... so yeah let me know your opinion on them, like are they crappy? but like i said they got awesome reviews!
