I need a few simple algorithms to help me create a program in Visual Basic. Can anyone help me with some code that I can use and learn from? Anything like simple, encryption/decryption of text files, graph drawing, just anything at all. Thanks.

If a 10N load is applied to the wire, what tensile stress does this cause? I got 2.21x10^8

If the same wire was replaced by a wire with half the diameter, what would be the new stress and what extension is produced? I got 8x10^8Nm^-1, and I couldn't find the extension.

We have a 24 meg connection and when I did a speed test we have a 0.27 connection apparently. All my downloads take forever and YouTube videos take pauses permanently. What is the problem?

But it says I need a "Capture from any video source with composite (RCA) or S-Video output", but I only have a scart. Any device I can use that can make it work as normal?

I need to film some stuff, so I need a good capture card that will allow me to play normally on my TV and Xbox, and record on my laptop/computer. I need all the hardware and prehaps some editing software. It has to have colour and audio. Thanks.

I am looking to buy a "capture card" to record videos from my Xbox 360 can anyone give any recommendations. I want to take the videos, and then put them onto my computer, and edit them there. It also needs to come with some kind of editing program. I would like to take the videos and add voices and music, and maybe some effects but that's it. It also has to be decent quality and not too overpriced, thanks!

Just going to post one of my all time favourites.

Two men where sat on a train going to Pittsburgh, when they both noticed they both had black eyes. After getting to know each other for a while, the first man asked:

The second man took a breath and replied:

I get cracked up by this one every time. I use spelling and grammar - it's fun!

I pre-ordered Gears of War 2 Limited Edition from GAME in the UK - will I get the golden lancer, like it said on the website? In the store they said they did not know what was in the limited edition bundle.

I have completed campaign on Insane, and got the achievement, but I don't have the saved data on my hard drive, will I still get the stuff unlocked because I have all of the achievements?

I have a moderate setting on my computer, but I want to change it to something lower. When I test my connection on the Xbox 360 it only says Open, so is there any way that I can lower it to easy or free.

I have a wireless connection to the NETGEAR 108 Mps Super Wireless Modem Router DG834GT.
