How do you calculate the volume of cyclohexane and ethyl acetate needed for a mole fraction of ethyl acetate = 0.25 in a total volume = 10mL?
I know that:
vol(cyclohexane) + vol(ethyl acetate) = 10mL
and that:
0.25 = (moles ethyl acetate/(moles cyclohexane + moles ethyl acetate))
volume can be written as = #mols * molarmass (g/mol) * density(mL/g) to give units mL...this can be substituted in for the volumes in the first equation I wrote.
I'm stuck in figuring out what the volumes for both need to be, thats is solving the 2 equation 2 unknown system.
Here's the info on the chemicals:
ethyl acetate = 88.11 g/mol and density = 0.902 g/ml
cyclohexane = 84.16 g/mol and density = 0.779 g/ml

-I figured this out to be for every G6P molecule 2 NADPH are produced so a total of 12 NADPH would be produced in this case
How many G6P molecules are regenerated in the non-oxidative phase of the pentose phosphate pathway under the same conditions as before...
-Im confused on this because the non-oxidative phase doesn't seem to be able to make any G6P molecules without entering and going through gluconeogenesis.

For the equilibrium expression N2 +3H2 ⇄ 2NH3 at constant temperature and pressure how can the equilbrium be shifted to produce more ammonia? And would it be possible for added hydrogen to produce the same effect?
I figured out that it would take a large excess of N2 to shift equilibrium to the left and I read somewhere that added H2 cannot lead to the formation of more ammonia...how is this possible?

The loop has a length of 0.6m and a width of 0.04m.
I have been stuck on this problem for hours and I can only express the emf in terms of velocity....isn't the emf changing with time? The question just says to find the emf...I know its a very badly worded question

If you have a very thin wire in a non uniform magnetic field (say a magnetic field due to a current carrying wire), as you move the wire will there be an induced emf?
I don't think so since the area of the wire is technically zero right?
