At my orthodontist office, its not the actual orthodontist himself that puts on the braces. All the orthodontist does is check how I'm doing for no more than 1 minute, and then goes on to a different patient. There are other people who glue your brackets on, and put your rubber bands in. What are they called?

I'm interested in going to Medical school and getting an MD degree. Now with that being said, was the degree really worth the time and the debt? I've been getting mixed responses from outside sources, some said that it was something they've dreamt of doing. Others said they would of rather went for the PA and wasn't worth the money and the countless hours that medical school took up. I was wondering what you guys (MD's) thought?

To get the edge on all of the other people wanting to enter in a nursing program.
