My partner and I are Filipino citizens and we had a Holy Union with the help of an LGBT church. The Philippines have not legalized same sex marriage so this is in on way recognized by the law. They don't recognize marriages done abroad either. So, why are there Filipinos who go abroad to get married when it's not acknowledged here once they go back?

What kind of Legal benefits do they get? Do they get to change their surnames even though the aren't Us citizens?

I'm from the Philippines. We have found stock certificates that were owned by my late grandmother who passed away 11 years ago. My grandmother had only 1 daughter, my mom. We were wondering how to transfer the stock ownership, if there are taxes we need to pay, if there is an "expiration" as to when the stocks should have been transferred, etc. Any information about our situation would help. thanks!

I'm making a data consolidation in which I get two different files (which should have the same data in it coming from two different sources) and I've put it in one sheet. Now, I created an if function to check if the data from one file is the same as another. I'm doing this for thousands of entries. Sample of the formula is: =IF(G3=O3,"Right","Wrong"). In some of the cells, it works. In others, even when the entries are identical, they still don't work.

Any thoughts?

I am going to be a student of UP Diliman and I live at Eastwood City Libis in Quezon City. Usually, I take a cab to go to UP but it is not pocket-friendly. I would like to know how I can get there the fastest by commuting (meaning using jeepneys or tricycles). I know the usual route - jeep to cubao, bus to philcoa, jeep to UP diliman. However, when I was taking a cab, the route used was Eastwood-C5-Marcos Highway-Katipunan-UP. My main question is it is possible to use the same route by commuting since it's the shortest way? If so, how? Thanks.

I bought the computer last June 2009 and I reinstalled windows just this December due to a windows problem. I reinstalled windows XP without reformatting,meaning my old files have been retained. Now, when I go to C:\Documents and Settings, I see an All users folder, an UserXp folder, an All Users.WINDOWS folder and a UserXP.Prive-6E50ABC (Prive-6E50ABC is the name of the computer). The first two folders are dated to be created on June 2009 while the last 2 are created this december. Can I delete the Old folders? I think they are the cause why my computer's slower than before.

Obviously, i am online, i am connected to the internet. Why doesn't it work? I tried installing java, i also reinstalled the internet explorer. it still doesn't work. help me please. i only trust Kaspersky.

Kaspersky provides a free online scan at their site. When I try to scan online, the first thing it does is of course update the virus definitions. When I reach a hundred %, an error pops up which says

Update process FAILED. No further antivirus functions can be performed. Attention. You must be online to activate Kaspersky Online Scanner, since the latest Antivirus bases version must be downloaded prior to scan. Otherwise we cannot guarantee the detection of latest viruses. [21]

Obviously, I am online. I am connected to the internet because I was able to access the site of Kaspersky. I thought maybe the problem's in my browser. I reinstalled Internet explorer but nothing happened. I still wait for the update only to find out that it can not proceed further. Please help me. I don't want any other scanners or antiviruses. I just want Kaspersky. Please help me make it work. PLEEEEEEEEEAAAAASSSSSSSSEEEEEEEEEE...

Actually, right now, I'm feeling nothing. I want to be sad and cry about some stuff that has happened in my life. I just can't. I know that feeling so depressed at times is normal but this is the first time I've ever felt this way. So many things are happening and many more are yet to come and instead of feeling nervous or excited or maybe disappointed and depressed I just feel nothing. I'm in a 2-year committed relationship and I feel like I don't love the person anymore but actually, I'm just feeling numb. Not just about that person but about everything and everyone else. What is this? What will I do?

I'm using an a4tech 1.3 mp webcam. I am able to broadcast it in yahoo messenger but i'm having a hard time doing so. When my friends try to view my webcam, it is said to be 'not connected' or something like 'you do not have permission to view this person's webcam'. after a few tries, they'll still be able to see it but the image keeps on hanging though. I already tried reinstalling it. I also don't think that it's an internet connection problem since I have friends who have the same connection but their cams are doing fine. How could i fix it?

I've already tried using different accounts. I also tried searching for answers at yahoo!help but i didn't see any. I'm sending and receiving messages to and from my friends in YM! but i can't see anything. This isn't a problem about a font color or anything. I can't even see and hear it when I'm buzzing in. Help me please...

When I click it,a "missing shortcut" box appears then after a few seconds, another box tells me that

How could i fix it?
