Our professor asked us to write a presentation on the role of written assignments in distance learning,using between 5-7 empirical studies.The thing is,i can't seem to find anything relevant online and i'm stuck.I've tried Google scholar and Scopus with no luck.What do i do?

Last Month,on December the 10th,i got hit by a car.I didn't break anything but was rushed into hospital and i had huge bumps and a strained neck..stayed home for 10 days.Then,3 days ago,on January the 10th(so,exactly a month after the accident),i was returning home at about 9 o'clock and a man on a motorbike grabbed my bag and i fell on the ground,dislocating my shoulder.Have i been cursed?i am scared to go out now...
