Thumbs down from the ignorant is as good as thumbs up from the wise. If you need to have sarcasm explained to you then explaining sarcasm to you wouldn't do you any good anyway.
What are these armor piercing bullets Biden is yapping about?
He and fellow idiot Scott Pelley on the CBS evening news seem really worried about this problem they just invented.
2 AnswersPolitics5 years agoAnyone able to identify this hunting rifle?
This is only a test. I haven't asked a question in a while so I wasn't sure how hard it is to do it right.
4 AnswersHunting6 years agoWho would like to go to the gun show in Columbia, SC this weekend?
...and save me a parking space? Last time it was such a madhouse I just kept driving and went and bought some junk at Harbor Freight instead. Shriner's Temple near St. Andrews Road.
7 AnswersHunting8 years agoHow long to partition a 1 terabyte drive?
Just started installing Windows XP onto a replacement drive in a not too ancient Dell I saved from a junk pile. Obviously have some time to kill so here's ten points to the closest guess.
2 AnswersDesktops9 years agoWhat can I do about my Kalashnikov's (MAK-90) accuracy problem?
I've had this AK for a while now. Originally bought it just to spite Bill Clinton and his friends when they passed their "assault weapons" ban. Well today I finally decided to end its safe queen status and shoot it for the first time. Damn was I disappointed. As we all know from the many questions posted here, an AK can rarely hit the broad side of a barn even when you're standing inside one but this stupid rifle could nail 2 liter soda bottles dead center every stinkin' time (at about 50 yards). I didn't look for a longer range to shoot on because, well, it's an AK right?
So my question is, what can I do to get optimal AK inaccuracy from this gun? Maybe add some kind of tactical rail and really cheap optical sight and leave all the screws loose? Somebody help me out.
10 AnswersHunting9 years agoIs the only real option for a bad answer to report it now that thumbs down is unavailable?
Just that simple. If we can't indicate a defective, misleading, or even potentially dangerous answer to a hunting question with thumbs down, is the best remaining option to report them all? I'm giving it a try.

6 AnswersYahoo Answers9 years agoWhat is the "official line of the gun lobby", and where can I get a copy?
Apparently there's an official line that we're all supposed to know and be able to recite (at least that's what the sensitive, caring Left believes). So how does one get on the mailing list, because I'm not getting the updates?
8 AnswersHunting1 decade agoIn news reporting of "cash for clunkers" was there some legal requirement to use the term gas guzzler?
Without fail, in every news report of the recently ended program if the talking head uttered one term, the other would also be used within a few seconds. Is this a policy that came down from above, or do they all just mindlessly parrot each other, or what?
5 AnswersMedia & Journalism1 decade agoIs there an online archive of old aerial photos similar to Google Maps?
Google Maps and similar services are very interesting and useful for seeing how things look now, or just about now, but are there any similar ways to look at the Earth at some specific past date (or the photo dated closest it)?

Something fairly compact but with a usable keyboard, touchpad, 2-3 USB ports and wireless LAN.

On AFKN News during the Space A travel listings they played a Joe Satriani song which for some reason has been stuck in my head for the past few days. What was the name of that tune?
1 AnswerMilitary1 decade agoWhat's the deal with Katie Couric's blurry face?
I understand how they're doing it, CBS is using technology that hides facial lines and wrinkles by slightly blurring anthing in a selected color range.
But WHY?
Am I supposed to trust what I hear from their anchor person when they can't even be honest with me about what she looks like?
