I have the information, but I am not sure how to report it. Mean 1- 4.06, SD 1- 1.52; Mean 2- 2.94, SD- 1.03; t=2.51, df=16, Sig (p-value) .023. In need to report in this format:

t ( )=___, p_____, d =_____. I think it should say, t (16)=2.51, p < .05, d___?

I am not sure how to report d. Is that cohen's d? Also, I am confused because the teacher gave us a p-value of .023; however, I was taught in my previous class that after p you put the greater or less sign depending on whether or not it is being rejected, and then you put the alpha level. In this case alpha would be .05. So, I cannot understand where to report SIG p-value of .023. Any help would be great!

I don't have any children, but I have some friends in this postion. If a father pays his child support every month, should he be required or asked for additional money from the mother???? For example, extra money for back to school, school pictures, dances, sports, etc. You know the extra added expenses or should this be factored into the child support already given?

I am beginning to think I am at any early stage of OCD. My compulsion is with fire. Before, I leave the house everyday, I check the ashtrays, curling irons, candles, coffee pot, oven, etc. at least three times, which more than half of them have not been used within 10 hours. Now, it has come to checking them while I am home. Nothing can be by the curling iron or stove or I get nervous sometimes even if they have been off for a long time. I am in my mid twenties. I have never experienced a fire, nor has anyone I have know, so where has this obsession come from????
