I am so tired with this stupid non-holiday. I am happily married for over 5 years and enjoy my husband's company all year long. I hate that on this specific day he feels pressured to buy me stuff and take me somewhere because some idiot decided that Valentine's day was the day to show your love and affection.

I am the type that I would much rather get something (anything) from him just because, than get a huge bouquet of roses because society says he should send me flowers on Valentine's day.

I keep telling my poor husband that he doesn't have to buy me anything or take me anywhere but he keeps asking because he doesn't want to upset me. I feels so bad...Anyone else feel this way?
