  • Trying to remember a late 80s/90s song that a female sang - see description for more information?

Okay, so this is been killing me for three days and I know I don’t have much to go on so just bare with me.

All I can remember from the beginning is a women singing “oooh sha nana nana na na. .” in a down beat but yet sings fast. Which makes me believe that this was possibly a dance and/or love song. The singer puts me in mind of Bonnie Raitt or Gloria Estefan (it’s neither of these). Reminds me of Congo with Miami Sound Machine but that’s not it either. And please- no smart a$$ remarks this is frustrating enough.

  • Need Help with Economics Question (Average Fixed Costs)?

You are a newspaper publisher. You are in the middle of a one-year rental contract for your factory that requires you to pay $700,000 per month, and you have contractual labor obligations of $1,000,000 per month that you can’t get out of. You also have a marginal printing cost of $0.35 per paper as well as a marginal delivery cost of $0.10 per paper.

    a. If sales fall by 20 percent from 1,000,000 papers per month to 800,000 papers per month, what happens to the AFC per paper?

    It rises from $______ to $________ ( <----- Where I need descriptive help/assistance)

    b. What happens to the MC (Marginal Cost) Paper?

    MC Doesn't Change

    c. What happens to the minimum amount that you must charge to break even on these costs?

It Increases from $ 2.15 to $2.58 per paper

  • Auto Electrical Issue question?

I only asks questions on here when I've exhausted all other options (just wanted to point that out)

For a 2002 Infiniti G20 - replaced the broken fog lamp bulbs with LED equivalent bulbs that were purchased online (The bulbs work because I tested them with a small car jumper box).

I put the new bulbs in - fog lights didn't turn on so I checked the fuse. Fuse was burned out so I replaced the fuse (it was a 15 so I put a new 15 in it). After the fuse replacement they still wouldn't turn on so I went and replaced the "FR FOG" relay switch. After the relay switch replacement they still will not turn on.

I'm asking because I've never had this happen before. I can say that the regular H3 Fog light bulbs were constantly burning out with an occasional fog light fuse burning out from time to time before all of this happened. I'm having some health issues to boot so I'm asking anyone who is familiar with this issue - to maybe point out anything I might have overlooked? I would really appreciate it.

  • Muscle Spasm like pain?

I'm going to try and keep this question short.

A few years ago I had back surgery on my lower lumbar spine. Recently an orthopedic doctor told me I now have 2 herniated discs and will not do anything because I'm so young. (Fine and dandy, I plan on starting to go swimming at a local Y to build up my core muscles). - I'm use to getting back pain and muscle spasms.

With that in mind, out of nowhere, I get this pain on my left side above my hip and below my rib cage. It's a burning type feeling when I touch or lay on it. It's nowhere near my normal back pain area, and isn't the usual pain I get from my back. I'm about in tears- hurts so bad.

Here's my logic: if it "were" a kidney infection, is have a fever and/or problems urinating (which I have neither). It just started last night into today so I only took a muscle relaxer to try and get the pain to stop.

My question: Has anyone else had this mysterious freakish pain out of nowhere? I'm not diabetic but I am a high risk for bold clots (so they tell me, I don't think it's that either). Any thoughts (home remedies) I could do to calm it down?

  • Nested excel 2010 formula question?

I'm in the middle of my excel 2010 assignment and I came up to something I don't believe was covered in the book. I already went over the IF, AND, & OR functions in chapter 3, we're discussing these functions in another chapter I believe as nesting functions.

The formula, the assignment shows, to enter has a "@" symbol in it. I don't understand why because when I try entering it- the formula becomes invalid.

I can give more information if needed if you ask. I'm just curious as to how to make this possible. Thank you in advanced.

  • Why can't implied authority conflict with any express authority? See Details.?

So I'm reading my textbook for Business Law II, and I first searched for the differences of Implied Authority and Expressed Authority. This is what I came up with:

Implied Authority: when the public assumes your authority because of certain attributes such as actions (signing contracts) or possessions (company t-shirt, vehicle).

Expressed Authority: Actual, distinctly stated (not implied), specific, authority given by a delegatee or principle to his or her delegate or agent, through oral or written, or partly oral & partly written words.

Now, this is what I'm thinking, Expressed Authority would be like if a sports icon has a contract with an agent to see and advise potential contracts. Implied Authority would be like if the sports icon's agent hires a secretary without permission from the sports icon.

I am so confused - the book states "Implied authority can not conflict with any express authority." I would like to know why - and maybe what they mean by "conflict". I read in other places online that Expressed Authority and Implied Authority can sometimes go hand in hand.

So what am I missing here?

(For the record, the chapter is discussing Agency Formation & Duties, Nothing specific like auto insurance but examples are greatly appreciated - Thank you~ !!)

  • 80s heavy metal song- need help figuring out the name?

I wanted to say it's pink floyd, but I'm not 100% certain, I found it on a mix cd that I found in a car I previously bought or I would already know. From the beginning - these are the lyrics I came up with:

    "Oh my god.

    Rumors, and whispers that call.

I can read my writing, I can see my name on the wall

Stand Still, I need a minute to think cuz I'm not thinking at all"

then later on in the song it repeats the chorus of "I'm in trouble, I'm in serious trouble"

It is not - Lindsey Buckingham. That song is slower. This is more like a heavy-metal 80s band.

Help because SoundHound and Google could not find it either!! Greatly appreciated if you know or can help!

  • Cat crosses your path, you have bad luck for how long?

Okay, so I'm curious (I'm not a cat so it won't kill me however. .) 7 years ago while I was moving, I accidentally broke a long mirror. Not even a week after, I was on my way to work and a black kitten crossed my path, unfortunately I hit and killed it and still feel terrible. My question is- am I still technically unlucky? How long is the bad luck streak when a black kitten crosses your path? Should I double that since I killed the poor thing?

I'm feeling really unlucky as I can not find a job and unemployment is playing games with me. Guess I'm just looking for a sign of good spirit.

  • What topics to cover in a 5minute PowerPoint? See Details.?

Okay, for my final project (Supervisors Class) we were to write a 5 page paper and create a 10minute PowerPoint which the teacher just switched to 5minutes. I did an interview of a business and reflected off 5 chapters in the book (I find it easier to type a paper this way). Now that I'm about to start the PowerPoint, I know I should explain this business which is a car company. I'm just not sure which topics to discuss that I don't have to go into long discussions since it has to be only 5 minutes. Anyone have any ideas what for topics I should use? I already interviewed my friend on this business and wrote the paper, just have a mental block. Help please?

  • Possible Norovirus Superbug, help?

Okay, I've been sick for weeks and now I'm down to the nitty gritty. It's not hard to explain, it's a pain in your gut that constantly makes you feel hungry, no matter how much you eat. If I "over eat" the pain gets worse. Once in awhile I toss my cookies and I get these headaches with it from time to time but overall- I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy.

I'm to the point where the doctors think I'm lying and I cry in misery almost everyday. I feel like that girl on contagion who's crying, pregnant and wants the antidote except I'm not pregnant.

Then my dad tells me about how my family, who lives far away, got this "Superbug" and it's not treatable. When I read up on it, they say it only lasts a day or two and is highly contagious.

I've had this for weeks, is that possible? I've been cleaning everything and changing my clothes more often than not. I'm to my breaking point, I don't know what else to do. Any thoughts/suggestions, please? Please - serious/honest answers.

  • Business Law question?

Okay, real quick I have 2 questions and I'll explain each of them.

    1) Contract Clause, my definition is that a Contract Clause is the clause in the U.S. Constitution that prohibits the government from unreasonably interfering with an existing contract. Okay, I understand this but can someone elaborate a little more, preferably in English (not law lingo) so I can get a better understanding?

    2) I just want to make this clear- I am studying for a test, I am not asking for answers for my homework. And I was also wondering, if anyone knows of any websites that might be of some use. Just in case I need help with my other terms that could briefly explain any scenario’s or examples with easier definitions? I'm not trying to be lazy or dumb, I'm just dyslexic and get confused easily, especially with this stuff as I'm beginning to understand.

And no, the movie "My cousin Vinnie" does not help me very much, lol. Anything that could be of use for studying I would greatly appreciate, please and thank you~! :)

(Please try to be considerate with your answers)

  • Horrible hunger pain does not subside. . please help?

Okay, so I've had this abdominal pain for over a month. I wouldn't normally be seen unless it was really bothering me, in this case it is. The pain is under my rib cage, I feel like I'm constantly nauseated, and I get sharp pains from time to time. It feels like I'm hungry but 10x worse and comes back shortly after I eat. I barely eat, and I'm loosing a lot of sleep. My doctor thought maybe ovarian cysts, so he ordered an UltraSound of my lower and upper abdomen. Called the doc before the test to explain the loss of sleep & nausea and was told to take tums. I had taken these before, didn't help so I tried them again. Same result. So I get the Ultrasound, was in tears most of the time and rushed home from the pain. Doc's office calls me back with the results and says there was a glitch so they were unsure and I'm to call general surgery to get a scope done. Went to the ER to rule out kidney or gallstones (since the 1st Ultrasound was inaccurate) and everything came back normal. I know things take time, but I also know that I'm not making this up and I don't have time to waste. I don't understand why we can't figure out what's wrong. The doctors don't seem to care, this is depressing. Does anyone have decent ideas or suggestions?

Things I have tried: Coconut water, Pepto Bismal, ProBiotics, Soup, Crackers, Green Tea, IcePops, mashed potatoes, carrots, Phyzeme, Acid Reducers, and tea. most of those things didn't work. Coconut water brings some relief but not much.

Please, only helpful answers. No rude remarks. I'm already in tears. Please and Thank you.

  • Diversity/Race Question?

Okay, I am generally one of the nicest people you could meet. I just aced a customer service class in college in which the teacher tells me I have much empathy and compassion when it comes to the customer's. Which is great because I'm going for my Business Management Degree.

In this class and another business class we have discussed diversity. In customer service it is best explained to treat different people, with different religions and cultures the same as you would your best friends, to put it short. I don't have a problem with that and I have always been kind to everyone I meet in and out of work.

Now here's where I get confused, please do not think I am trying to be racist in any manner, I'm just confused. So one of my friends, of a different race, asks me why I'm so afraid to call people by their race (black, Chinese, Mexican, white, etc.) and I said its because everyone has a proper given name and shouldn't be referred to their race because it's not proper. Then he says that I need to accept discrimination because it exists, and that I try to hide the fact and avoid it at all costs.

Okay so here comes my question. I don't understand the concept of this conversation, should I feel bad for accepting everyone as human beings? Is he trying to find hate in me that I can't seem to bring myself too? Can someone please enlighten me on how I should feel about this situation because I am so lost. No I'm not "trolling" either so please honest answers/comments.

  • Help, not sure what's happening?

So I'm adjusting my sleep schedule for a new job that I start tomorrow. I got 4 hours sleep yesterday morning and woke up with a hunger feeling even tho I did eat earlier on. Slept 2 more hours then got up to drive to my parents for dinner. I got cold sweats out of nowhere and when I got to my parents I was so nauseated. I took a mayloxx tab which sort of helped. I ate then slept 2 more hours. Still nauseated then I got a sudden migraine out of no where. I can feel it in my neck and teeth that's how bad. I have no insurance so I'm not going to the doctor. I also have like an acid reflux thing going on. It's honestly starting to freak me out since I don't usually get nauseated until after I get the migraine. Does anyone have advice or suggestions? Stomach bug, normal migraine, nerves, etc.?
