is the shedd considered a museum?

I have to do this presentation on museums in Chicago.

it basically has to do with the perception of the museums we have made by outsiders, vs the ones we really have.

I'm a little stumped on what to talk about...

I'm going to talk about the first museum

and then of course the more well known ones

and then some local ones that are decent

but other than that..what else do you think i should talk about?

For example, here in Chicago we call it "pop".

I don't know if that's a Midwest thing or just us...

I know in Jersey they call it "soda".

so yeah...if you know the regions, let me know..

if not, just tell me what you call it, and where you're from.

I'm not looking for an argument, so don't tell me that your way is the right way.

FYI: The formally correct term is "soft drink".

I have lots of guy friends and sometimes as I'm hanging out with them I realize that some of them really are attractive, but I try not to think that way because they're friends and I don't want to make them run away but I will say I flirt a lot. But anywho, I always wonder it goes the same for guys... do you have friends that are girls and not EVER think that they are attractive even the slightest?? Even if you just WONDER.. just maybe. Or is it impossible to have friends like that and NOT wonder?

I have tons of old birthday cards, and I don't know what to do with them. I don't want to dispose of them. I don't know why. It's a mixture between feeling bad because they were given to me by friends... and well because I like them. I just hate that I can't do anything like, they're just in a shoe box. So what should I do? I'm only 19 , I'm sure I'll be getting MANY more to come, so that's still an ongoing problem!

Because I've gone online application happy and ive been applying at TONS of places for the last few months and sometimes i feel like i mightve already filled out an application somewhere, but i cant recall.

I'm not looking for the "easy way out", I want to do it the right way, eat healthy, plenty of exercise, no loop holes, just the real deal. I'm not gonna lie though, I don't know what I'm doing...anyone care to help me out?

so here's the deal...I'm not gonna lie, I'm out of shape. I have six weeks as a fresh start to clean and detoxify my body, and i wanna start doing some really hardcore workouts. Chill, I'm not saying I need to lose a million lbs by the end of six weeks, thats just when i have my vacation and more time to solely focus on working out and eating healthy ... I kind of want to lose some weight by june... that's reasonable right? and i just want to eat healthy in general so i can feel better and not be consumed by nasty junk food.. but yeah..idk. if anyone is interested, let me know.. or just give me tips and what not!! :D thanks so muchhhh

Okay my friends and I have been arguing about a certain scenario that touched base recently and our conversations have been getting really heated. So we're deciding to settle this here. I won't say my opinion or his, because I don't want any biased answers.. so here goes. If a girl is wasted, and she invites a guy over to hang out.. without the intention of sexual actions, and they get flirty and they end up in bed together, is that wrong? while in bed they did not have "sex" but they did all sorts of oral things and say the "69" and she didn't want to but didn't say anything.. is it okay for the guy to have kept going? even though she invited him, and she was intoxicated, and he was sober. and he knows that she is virgin-esque? is it right or wrong? or is it like similar to rape, just not to an extreme level. the girl just felt disgusting afterwards and really doesn't talk to the guy anymore...what do you think? sorry for the long-winded explanation, and thanks for your opinion.

I start college this week and some days I'm away from home from 8am to 6pm... and I was wondering what I could maybe take with me in my bag. I'll eat breakfast in the morning, and I'll take water with me... I pretty much only need something small and that won't go rotten in my bag before I go home and have dinner... any suggestions? Tomorrow I'm just taking some trail mix because I really didn't have time to think of this or go buy anything... but for the rest of the week, I'm out of ideas!! & I don't want anything like twinkies, cheetos, etc etc. Thanks!! :]

I've been really curious lately about Spanish Rock, but the only bands I really have listened to are Mana [who hasnt?] , El Canto Del Loco, and Pereza. Those bands are okay but not like the ones I listen to in English.But I want some bands that may be similar to say Alkaline Trio, Brand New, Sugarcult, The Used, Deftones, Breaking Benjamin, A Perfect Circle, System of a Down, Placebo, Say Anything, Chevelle...things like that... ! I've been dating this guy, we're not boyfriend and girlfriend yet, but we spend a lot of time together, so it feels like we're dating. Last week he asked me out to dinner at a restauraunt. Nothing too extravagant or fancy, but it was nicer, and above fast food. When the bill came... he laid his half of the money down...and I didn't think to bring money with me, so he had to pay the whole thing. I felt bad, but.. I thought the guy or the person who asks is supposed to pay on a date. So I'm seeing him again tonight, but I'm going to feel akward giving him his money back, or should I just "forget".. it's like $35.
