I was fired from a job and my employer kept my check an extra 2 days. I just got off the phone with him and he said I can come pick it up in the office today and he had it cashed it will be be cash in an envelope for me. Can they do this? I don't want it in cash and I did not tell them to do that.

My friend has been hanging out with this girl whose mom lets kids go their and get drunk!! They are all ages from 16-19. My friends is becoming a drunk and parties with this girl and her mom. I am scared to death for these kids!! What can I do?

I just found out today that my father did something. I don't want to go into details but I know for a fact it's true. How am I supposed to tell my mother this? I don't want to start a fight, but she needs to know.

It started like 10 minutes ago or so. The vision in my left eye is a little way. (just in the corner, kinda like the way when a flashback begins. Everything else is fine and it seems to be going away. Any ideas what this could be related too? I do wear contacts but I don't have any discomfort.

Ever since I started my new job at a telemarketing firm, everyone tell me that I am very quiet....all the time. I kinda find it annoy, and it makes me think people think I am shy or whatever. I just don't talk that much. Does this mean people get a negitive energy or something from me? It seems not that many people want to talk to me because they think I'm quiet. Any advice on what to do?

I'm just not very talkative when I'm at work or other social gatherings. I tend to keep to myself and join in on most conversations unless spoken too. I don't really start conversations with people either. I'm not shy at all...just "quite" as everyone says. Everyone always says, "You're so quite, you never talk." It kinda makes me feel people a wrong impression of me. It makes me want to be more talkative...Any tips? I'm not shy at all, I'm just not a big talker if you get what I mean.

Alright, I've been tanning about a week now in these level 2 beds and I never burn. I'm a guy and don't know what lotion is best for me. I really like this one by designer skin called worship me. I've never had a sun burn in my life and want to know what lotions would be best for me. I tan easy, but would like to get super dark.

Well, here is the story. I've been singing in my church for years. Recently though, since I had my labret pierced and a tattoo done, a lot of the members in the church no longer wish that I perform. The preacher disagrees with them but the majority of the people that are against it, have to power to get our preacher fired. (if he doesn't agree with the mass)

I mean, what is the difference if I have a hole in my mouth or one in my ear? Nothing. The reason people were ear rings is for vanity. So why is it not acceptable for me to have that one my mouth? God even gave a girl (can't remember off the top of my head) golden ear rings.

They also said that I use drugs and alcohol because of the way I look. (stereotyping me because of my piercing)

Any good articles or scripture on the matter would be great!

PS: I feel that if you are not getting a tattoo, piercing, or whatever...if you aren't doing it for wrong reasons, God wouldn't care. I think it looks nice, so thats why I wear it.
