  • How to type "IPs" in Microsoft Excel 2010?

I am trying to type "IPs" (excluding quotes) into a cell in Microsoft Excel. It keeps changing it to be "Ips". If you enter an apostrophe before the I, it still does not work. The only solution I've found so far is to enter =concatenate("I","Ps") but surely there's a more sensible way to do it.

  • Recommendations for a somewhat untypical birthday party..?

My friend's birthday is this weekend and he wants the occasion to be something that goes along with the following.. A place/event where we can go and have fun while being intoxicated, where being intoxicated is not the norm. Bonus points if there's a risk of being kicked out (but nothing illegal).. We were thinking about art galleries or museums. I don't think our idea would fly at go-kart places.

  • What is a good techno (maybe industrial?) club in Chicago?

I've lived here for over 10 years and I looooove electronic music, however I've never found a club that was any good in the way of electronic music. Any suggestions are appreciated, but I don't want hip hop, and I don't want house music (which is all Chicagoans seem to be into, sadly)

  • Why does this girl call me more often when she's drunk?

I like this girl a lot, and she knows it.. we talk quite a bit.. mostly online.. lately she calls me a LOT, and a vast majority of the time she is drunk.

On the downside, she rarely ever wants to hang out in person, and we only live 10 minutes from each other, so I'm getting kinda tired of it.

She just texted me a few minutes ago.. "I'm drunk and going to call you later"

For what it's worth, sigh, we originally had plans to hang out tonight but she seemingly "forgot!?" (again, she was drunk at the time)..

I'm still crazy about her but this drunk stuff turns me off sooo much.

  • How do I end a long distance/serious relationship?

We've been dating for over 6 years and living together for over half of that. We weren't getting along living together and I was dead set on breaking up with her when we moved apart, but I didn't do it. In the meantime I've met other people and I am ready to move on. We are over 2000 miles apart. I'm not sure if I should do it over the phone, go there in person and be prepared to catch the next flight home, or what.. It's been a long time coming and it's been up and down for each of us, but I'm finally ready to get off this roller coaster.

There was never any hope of marriage, she and I didn't see eye to eye on so many issues.. I should have left long ago but I still liked her and was just waiting for someone new to come along. She also cheated on me numerous times (some she confessed to, some she didn't but it was obvious)

  • There's this girl I like. I came on too strong too soon. She knows how I feel. What should I do?

I met this girl from an online personals site, we had one date, then she invited me to her apartment.. nothing happened other than very slight hand holding that I initiated, and we cuddled as we slept. Pure bliss. I've talked to her a ton for about a month online.. I'm 10 years older than her and she's in her 20s. I'm very picky and it's rare that I meet anyone I like or go more than 2 dates with. I felt this intense feeling the moment I laid eyes on her in real life, love at first sight, I feel like I absolutely love this woman. Even if she doesn't reciprocate, I know I will still love her regardless. Err yeah so I told her that, today. She didn't freak out but said she is commitment-phobic and it takes time for her to develop feelings. She asked that I give her time and not be in a hurry. I know most guys would say to act like a jerk and it was stupid to tell her how I felt, but I honestly don't care...... Guess I just need to listen to her and slow down

  • With improvements in fuel efficiency, how come we are still limited to 200-500 miles per fillup/recharge?

I want to see an effecient car where I can drive 1000-2000 miles on a single tank. My current car which is not efficient gets around 450 miles on a single tank. If it were efficient you'd think I could get 600 or more, but it's like the manufacturers make the tanks smaller on more efficient cars. Why is that? I want to be able to drive coast to coast without a fillup, or go several months without a fillup.

  • I was diagnosed w/ Eosinophilic Esophagitis, caused by allergies to my cats. What meds may help w/ symptoms?

I was already prescribed Flovent and Nasonex, and neither helped whatsoever. After several years of seeing doctors -- a COMPLETE waste of time and money, taking allergy tests, getting my esophagus dilated, and trying food avoidance diets, I realized when I was away on business trips my symptoms would disappear in about a week and I can eat anything under the sun without choking (whereas, even carrots or rice were immense difficulty at home). I have come to realize I am allergic to my cats. Getting rid of my cats is not an option. I love my cats and I am completely willing to live off of a liquid diet if I have to. I am just wondering if anyone can suggest any medications that I can ask my doctor about to see if they may allow me to suffer a bit less :-)

Also I want to add that the allergy test said I wasn't allergic to cats, but it also said I wasn't allergic to fish -- give me one bite of fish and watch me break out in hives and gasp for air.. Stupid doctors!!
