I am getting a tattoo in a week and a half, for which I am travelling about 600 miles to get. While we are near there we will be doing some sightseeing, due to it being so far away. Most of the trip will be done with before I get the tattoo, we'll have 2 more days where we're going to be traveling around in the mountains. I know that I can't expose it to sun, and I know all my aftercare stuff, be close to a sink, all of that. But as far as what to wear... it's going to be on my upper arm/shoulder area, and I don't know what I can wear that will give adequate sun protection. I know it is recommended to wear a loose white cotton T shirt after the tattoo, but I don't think white cotton will give good enough sun protection. I can't put sunscreen on it and I am certainly going to avoid sun as much as possible, but I don't know how to totally avoid it if we get out of the car (or even in the car through the window). Thanks for your suggestions.
