Are my GM call options still valid once GM completes its IPO?
In 2009, I bought an options contract that allowed me to buy 100 shares of GM stock at $2.50 each by January 2011. GM will be issuing new stocks in November 2010 as it emerges out of bankruptcy. Can I still exercise this option on these new shares of GM? Thanks!
1 AnswerInvesting1 decade agoAre sports scores and sports statistics "fair use"?
I'm considering starting a sports publishing business. In my publications, I will use, partly, previous scores and player statistics. Are player statistics and previous games scores copyrighted and I would have to pay a fee to Stats LLC to publish them? Or are they fair use?
What I would be doing would be equivalent to what the sports pages of newspapers offer.
Thanks!
2 AnswersLaw & Legal1 decade agoProblems with Gauss-Jordan Elimination!?
Suppose we have the augmented 3*3 matrix,
Row 1: 2 3 4 | 5
Row 2: 6 7 8 | 9
Row 3: 3 2 1 | 9
I know what the solution is to this problem, but I don't know how to get it. I ultimately come up with the answers x = 6, y = -4.333, z = 2/3
I use the elementary row operations and use them properly, but I still come up with the wrong answer.
Are any steps in elementary row operations that are preferred to others? Thanks.

I realize I'm new here ,it was just something unexpected. I suppose as I go along , I'll be a bit more selective , hence cutting down on my answers.
