What is the real deadline for the IRS to release delayed tax refunds? I first was told that june 30th, was the?
deadline. Then now i heard that July 31st, is the deadline. So does anybody know what the deadline is? My return has been filed since March. And the IRS agents, cant tell me a reason it's being delayed so long. Don't understand. So will they go ahead and release my refund after July 31st?

telling me a delay in processing. Then when i talk to an live agent, they can't seem to what or any problem why it's delayed. And i haven't gotten any letters from them. So what gives with this and the IRS this year? Is the end of July the deadline date to release refunds that are being held this long? This is crazy! How much delaying and reviewing can be done, and it's not even an earned income credit return. and it's direct deposit to my bank. so when should i expect them to release my fecund?

What does that code really mean?

3 AnswersUnited States1 decade agoI called the WMR line on wed, 5/26/10. And it said my refund was scheduled for direct deposit on fri., 5/28/10?
Then when i called again on thur, 5/27/10. It said that received my return and it's being processed. And if i don't receive my refund within 4 weeks, to call back. But it didn't say it was a delay in processing, or anything that i would be receiving a letter from them or anything that its being held for review. So when shud i get it? Maybe this week on the 6/3/10?

They update the computer system. So if your refund was scheduled for 5/28/10. That now you want receive it til 6/4/10. Is this true of IRS? I had one customer service rep. Tell me that. Because i called to ask why the wmr line had me scheduled for dd 5/28/10, then when i called back on 5/27/10. It then said my refun was being processed an if i don't receive it by 4 weeks to call back. Why is that?

processing, since February? I have been calling weekly since i filed in early feb. And it just says delay in processing. And when i talked to a agent, they really didn't see any reason for the delay or hold. I never received any letters either. march 4th. And that they have up to 30days from the day it went review to release my money. The rep also told that they have been selecting random returns for review this year. That is why so many people returns are delayed this year. Has any body else had this problem this year? And does anybody know if my money will be released soon, maybe this Friday, April 2nd.

website. It now says. We are processing your refund. Please check later. What the heck is going on? What does that mean? Then i checked with my bank, and they said even though the deposit day says the 19th, it may not hit or post to my account for a couple days. Is this true?
