I'm gonna sing the doom song

I've been helping take care of my grandmother and she has been in Hospice care for near two years. She is bed ridden and in very bad shape but her mind has been fairly sharp. Just last night and today she has been having periods of talking nonsense, using real words but making no sense ( "pain stand sequined elephant.") her Nurse is coming by soon but wanted to know if anyone knows more about this. We all know she doesn't have much longer though.

Have you ever looked at the stars and seen the Andromeda galaxy? The Andromeda galaxy is a 

spiral galaxy approximately 2.5 million light-years from Earth. That means it takes 2.5 million years for the light to get to us... Whith so much proof around how can you believe that the earth is only (roughly) 7,000 years old?

Do you believe in Hell? Is God really so unforgiving that the mistakes you make in 100 year(fairly long life span) can warrant eternal damnation? 100 years is less than the blink of an eye compared to eternity. Also I love my daughter more than life itself, and there is NOTHING she could do that would make me punish her for eternity. Is god even less forgiving tha a simple human (me)?

(please don't take offense, I'm just curious of your views)

Also, what if you are a genuinely caring, loving, helpful person. One who does everything they can to be good to others? Now what if that person believes in a different god? Many gods? No god? Is God so egotistical that an otherwise good person should suffer for eternity?

I'm not trolling or trying to start a fight, but for those of you who believe in parts of the bible but not all of it, what makes you think any of it is true? Even when I was religious, I couldn't believe in hell. My reasoning is that if god loves me more than I could ever possibly love my daughter, then there's no way he could ever send me to eternal torment. Nothing in the world could my daughter do, to make me send her to ETERNAL torment, I couldn't even do that to my worst enemy. If you're willing to pick and choose what parts of the bible you disagree with (slavery,no womens rights,no divorce, homosexual marriage, etc) aren't you just creating your own moral standards just like atheists? I have no issue with people having faith unless it infringes on other peoples lives (Westboro baptist church, religion mixing with politics, suicide bombers, etc) but I just don't understand how someone can choose to believe that parts of the bible are fiction, but some of it is still fact... Even when I was religious I was more of a deist than anything due to the fact I had no way of knowing which religion was actually the right one, ("what if the Jews are right?' "What if the Amish are the only ones doing it right?") Truly sorry if I offend anyone, just trying to wrap my head around this...

I have a broken tooth, As of 9:00pm this evening it started to hurt, now the pain is so bad I can't sleep. The whole right side of my jaw,cheek is very tender ,my ear is throbbing and my lymph node is swollen. I have already taken pain killer at the maximum dose and I have no insurance what should i do? ER? wait til morning?

I asked this question for the christians over 2 days ago and not one christian tried to answer.

I just want some opinions on this, please don't get offended.

If a person in a third world counrty is a good person, but has never had the chance to accept jesus because he's never heard of him does he go to hell just for never having known. Keep in mind alot of these people's lives are just stuggling to feed their kids. If so, why, he really couldn't help it.
