I have a 2 1/2 year old, and ever since he was a year old he has been sooo overly picky. Up until a year old he ate everything, now he won't touch anything new. He is very typical for breakfast, he will eat his cereal, or yogurt, with a banana. He loves fruits of all kind, and some veggies. My biggest issue with him is meat and main dishes. He refuses to eat chicken nuggets, burgers, spaghetti, or pretty much any other thing you can think of. He loves soups (go figure) and chicken noodle being his favorite. He will eat cheese, drinks milk, yogurt, french fries, all kinds of fruits and lentils/beans. He has never had cheeseburgers, chicken or turkey, (other than when he was younger than a year old) any suggestions on how to combat this picky eater situation? I have spoken with his Dr. and he says some kids are just super picky and not to worry, but he won't eat anything that the family eats, and it's making me crazy!! (He is tall for his age, and the correct weight for his age) thanks!!

My Son is 21 months, and a very active smart little boy. He has no health problems and is totally normal. Ever since he got his first tooth around 10 months he has increasingly gotten pickier at eating. He used to eat everything, and now wants nothing to do with "real" adult food. He loves the gerber graduates, and eats veggies and loves all fruit. Loves all crakers, cereal, yogurt and cheese. He will just play with his plates if he sees noodles, meat, bread, eggs etc... what can I do? I have told his Dr. this and he told me it's just a phase. How the heck long does it last??? I need him to eat real food, what we eat at the dinner table. HELP!!

My Son is almost 11 1/2 months, and is so over the formula. He does not finish his bottles during the day, and just does not seem very interested in it anymore. Would it be a bad idea to start and introduce whole milk at this point? He is a good eater as far as solids go, and has 2 healthy snacks a day. I just want some imput. Thanks.

My Son is 11 months, and he is our first. What are some good food combos, and things he can eat or try? He is absolutely NOT picky, and eats whatever I let him try. The only thing that concerns me, is that he seems a little slow to catch on to textures, and sometimes will easily choke or gag himself pretty bad. I make a lot of my own food for him, and feed him some stage 3 baby food. He loves graham crackers, gerber puffs, veggie puffs, and the yogurt melts. I just need some more suggestions or ideas. Hes getting older and I cant feed him soft food forever, I just dont want him to choke. Thank You!

My In Laws recently visited and they had purchased 2, 3 day park hopper tickets for D land (Ca.) I want to upgrade the tickets to annual passes for my Sister and I. (they left the tickets with me because they had to use for them after they left Ca.) I KNOW the tickets say no transfers, has to be used by the same person etc... etc... etc... but I just want to upgrade them and pay the difference. Are they going to question me? or ask me where I got the tickets? I just dont want any problems. I know people do this all the time, any experiences would be helpful.

I have an 8 month old, and Im so confused about what to feed him. He has his typical routine of 5oz. of formula 5-6 times daily, and is on stage 2 foods. He is NOT a picky eater at all, and likes anything I try with him. I want to start giving him some foods he can pick up and feed himself, or try to feed himself. Can I give him the Gerber Puffs yet? I have heard of ppl. giving a 8 month old cheerios, I just thought they had to be able to chew it. He has a lower tooth breaking through, but I need new ideas I can try with him just being able to "gum" the food. Im so scared he will choke.

My 5 month old keeps scratching his face. Whenever he wakes up in the morning he has a new scratch. I cut his nails every couple of days and they grow SO fast. Even after I cut them they seem so sharp. I cant use the newborn gloves anymore on him because he rips them off. Anyone have some suggestions? his face has 3 scratches right now, and I feel terrible, but I dont know what to do.

Im currently using the Nursery Water for my Son who will be 4 months on Dec. 2nd. He has been using it since he was about 2 months, I have been hearing not such great things for the nursery water, since it contains added floride. Im going to change the water but was just curious what is best? should I stick with distilled? I heard because its distilled all the needed minerals are taken out, so Im just confused. And advice? He arches his back when I feed him, cries after I feed him, passes terrible gas, screams in pain at random times, burps wet burps, spits up etc... it has just recently gotten worse so he has an appt. tomorrow with the Dr. but I wanted to find out what if anything the Dr. did for them? did they give medicine? if so what kind? (zantac) I just want to make sure that this is not all in my head and that these are real symptoms of reflux and that it can be helped with medicine. I feel so bad for my little man and hope the Dr. wont pass this off as "oh its normal all kids do it" as he has in the past. So any stories or experiences would be helpful. Thanks!!

My Husband and I will be traveling to Florida in January (from Ca.) My Son will be 5 months, and we will need to take his travel system with us (carseat that fits into the stroller) how the heck do I do this?? Its a very nice travel system, and I dont want it destroyed by the time it gets to Florida. So should I buy a travel bag for the seat part of it? and what about the stroller?? I dont think it can go on the plane with me can it?? im just confused, any help would be GREAT!!! Thanks so much.

My Son just had his 2 month appt. today, and he weights a healthy 11 lbs. 4 oz. and is 24 inches long. I was just curious what your baby weighs? or how much did they weigh at 9 weeks? and how tall are they? Thanks!

The way that I have been acting is affecting my relationship with my Husband and I feel terrible so I really want to get whatever the issue is under control, and I can only imagine it to be hormonal. I have an appt. on Monday at the local WIC office. I was not expecting to not be able to breastfeed, and my Son needs special formula. So I just wanted to know what the process is?? I know I qualify because Im not working, and my Husband is out of the country right now, so its just my Son and I. But I was just curious what they ask you? or if they made you get blood work done? I know it sounds weird, but they sent me a paper to fill out, and it had spaces for a Dr. to fill in for blood work results and stuff, so I was kind of confused. Any help would be nice.. thanks everyone =) Oh and if it matters Im in Southern Cali. My Son is 7 weeks

I had my beautiful Son 7 weeks ago, and I had major "baby blues" for 2 weeks. I got over it for a couple of weeks, but now Im having massive mood swings, and Im very irritable, along with feeling emotional (which I never have been in the past... takes me a lot to cry) I fly off the handle at my Hubby, and I dont want to be around anyone. Im not sure what is going on here. I have no desire to even talk to anyone on the phone. What could this be?? For any lady that has had PPD what were your symptoms, and what did your Dr. do for you??? will my OB be able to help with this issue? or do I have to go to a regular Dr.??? Thanks =)

My Son is scheduled to get his shots next week, and I just wanted to know for the parents that have had their kids vaccinated, how was your child after the shots?? were they sick or were they fine?? Did you get all the shots at one time? or did you delay the schedule?? Im all for vaccinating my child, but I was just curious as to how he will react to them, ex: sick, fever, sleeping a lot, etc.. Thanks =)

***And to all the people that DONT believe in vaccinating please dont even bother trying to lecture me on the "harmful effects" that it "could" have.

I have a 5 week old and was breastfeeding until a hormone imbalance caused my milk to very much decrease. My Son was on Infamil with Iron, that made him terribly gassy and bloated. We switched to Enfamil Gentle Ease, that worked better, but he was still having way to much gas and getting bloated. So My Dr. told me I could put him on Soy which we did. (Prosobee) well things seem to be much better the past 3 days, BUT now he is constipated!! and he is spitting up more then he did before. He had a Bowel movement today which was hard and not easy for him to pass.

What Can I do to ease the constipation? Will this clear up or do I need to change formulas yet again? I put a call in to his Dr.'s answering service, and Im waiting to hear back. So ANY advice would be great. Other then these issues he has done much better, so I dont want to change formulas again, the next one will have to be the Nutragimen. So help me please.... thanks everyone!!
