These two notable (and notorious) German figures were born and lived around the same time period and had distinct philosophies on various issues. I was wondering if the two ever met, or if they had opinions on one another and their works.

So I am putting together a mad Max-Inspired cosplay. I am using items like old army boots, a sleeveless jacket, torn shirt, license plates as shoulder pads, etc.

I am also incorporating a Black Watch Tartan kilt into it, since it has a punk/rebel feel to it.

Besides that, what other items and accessories would work well? Also, how do I distress and dirty up the clothing like it has been in the wasteland for years?

This question may contain spoilers of Mad Max: Fury Road and the original trilogy. Read with caution!

So I have been wondering about two particular characters from the recent movie out called "Mad Max: Fury Road."

The first is the main villain of the movie, Immortan Joe, who is played by the same actor who portrayed 'The Toecutter" in the original Mad Max movie.

I'm not sure if it's canon Mad max lore, but I like to think Toecutter went on to become Immortan Joe and establish/rule over The Citadel, since they are played by the same actor and at least several years have passed in the Wasteland since the original Mad Max trilogy.

And as for Max himself, he appears in the first scene of the movie with long, shaggy hair and an unkempt beard, much like the Feral Kid from the second Mad Max movie.

I didn't make this connection at first, until I saw one of Joe's wives playing the same little music-box that the original Max give the Feral Kid in Mad Max II.

So Max in "Fury Road" may not even be Max, but a grown-up feral kid!

Not sure where the kid learned to talk, but he took Max's name as his own since Max gave him that music-box and that was the nicest anyone had ever been to him?

I am a freak for renaissance fests and other such events (costume parties, anime cons, etc.) and often wear my Scottish-style kilt to these events.

I find in my kilt it is quite hard to sit on the toilet because the "tail" of it always seems to want to fall into the toilet.

Plus I usually have all kinds of accessories like a leather pouch, tankard on a strap, and leather armor, and get in the way.

Some ren-faires just have awful porta-potties and using them is hard to begin with. Nicer gigs have at least a semi-decent walk-in facility with concrete floors and stalls.

Wizzing is no problem, just pooping.

I m kinda embarrassed to ask this question, and the moderators can delete it if deemed inappropriate.

For the last few weeks, my anus has been causing me problems, such as itching, general painfulness, and sore/irritated.

During bowel movements, it it very painful and hurts. It causes my anus to bleed at a concerning rate, and blood drips into the toilet and smears on the toilet paper when I wipe.

I hope it is a minor problem like wiping too hard, as I am a little obsessive with making sure I m clean back there, but I fear it may be hemorrhoids or something similar.

Any advice on what might be wrong with me and/or how to cure this painful problem is appreciated.

In case it matters, I am 25, male, 25-30 pounds overweight, eat a lot of fast food, and have had, um, anal sex before (last time was 1-2 years ago.)

I asked a similar question previously, but no-one answered it so I am trying again.

My friend gifted me Garry's Mod, and I just purchased the Orange Box.

When I try to run Garry's Mod, I get to a blue screen that says "loading" and it stays there for a bit but then it closes and a window pops up that says HL2.exe has stopped working. I have Half-Life 2, and Episodes 1 and 2 installed, but GMod still says it stopped working.

I can run HL2 and both episodes just fine.

How do I fix the HL2.exe stopped working problem and successfully run Garry's Mod?

My microphone and laptop-integrated webcam stopped working a few months ago after it was worked on.

I want to be able to record my voice as audio with audiacity, a sound-editing program.

I am pretty sure the problem lies with my laptop's mic, not audacity.

What is the best way to get my microphone to work again? I would prefer to download a driver of some sort to make it work again; that would be ideal.

Because you see them lying on the floor together, presumably dead.

I hope not, because they are some of my favorite EVA characters.

After reading Cardcaptor Sakura (CCS), I stumbled across another CLAMP title, "Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicles" the main characters are named Sakura and Syaoran, and they are involved with Clow Reed.

Sakura and Syaoran also look like older versions of the CCS characters.

Are the two titles related, or just coincidence?

I got my computer back from the repair shop a few months ago, and noticed the wireless internet does not seem to work, whereas it worked fine before the repair.

I use an Ethernet USB cable for now, but I would love to use wireless for convenience purposes.

Any tips to get my wireless internet to work again?

I have all the original installation disks that came with my laptop (Dell Inspiron 1525, Windows Vista 32 bit) SO maybe one of the disks has wireless internet installation.

I also don't know if the problem is with my computer or my router, which has wireless.

I wear a U.S. size XL shirt, or in suit sizes a 46-48, and sometimes a 50.

I'm looking at some ebay shops that sell the shirt, and they all have various sizes, some are in America and have U.S. sizing, and some come from Europe/Russia and have Euro/Russian sizing.

I'm not sure what an XL U.S. converts into in Russian, but if someone could tell or help me out with what size I should get it would be appreciated. Thanks!

Note: I have a Soviet/Russian army overcoat that is a size "50-5" and it fits perfectly.

I am looking for an English version of the Japanese Visual Novel (VN) called "Tsukiakari no Raspberry Tsun Dere." The game was made by an artist/designer known as Tinklebell and his website is the same name (just put a .jp at the end of his name). I would link it, but his site contains adult material.

I have looked around on the internet, google, and various download sites already but have found nothing. If there indeed is no English version, then perhaps I can get tips on where I can get a digital copy (since I can't buy the game from Japanese stores) and how I would go about making it read in English.

I really don’t know what to do.

I want to die, and I know that this fact devastates my family and friends. They would be very upset should I carry though with this, yet I am getting more and more confident that I want to carry through with this. There appears to be no other options.

Not even my own mother, the person I trust no matter what and above all others, would just implore me to go to the Hospital, which I have been to in the past, but to no avail; it actually seemed to make things worse because they were keeping me alive when I wanted to die, and they insisted things would get better.

They did not.

It was a unique, indirect form of torment and torture. It's hard not to tell mom these things; to keep them secret from her, but I must because I can't go back. (Please forgive me, you must understand!)

They were just doing their jobs, so I guess they aren't really to blame...

However, I have religious doctrine which compels me not to commit “regular” suicide, so if someone else could kill me, that would be wonderful. Plus, when I believe in a perfect, pleasure-filled paradise in the afterlife where there is no pain, only joy, why should I continue to exist in this uninhabitable world?

Death would be a sweet escape from this suffering. I'd be insane to want to keep on living in this world when I am confident a better one awaits.

Pretty much the only things keeping me painfully alive at this point is my religious principle strictly forbidding outright suicide and the fact that I don’t want to break the hearts of my loved ones, who would be, as I said above, distraught at my early end. Hell, they already are…

What should I do?

I have a vhs of "My Neighbor Totoro" that I think is the first English edition of the movie that came out in 1993. I prefer the English dub of the '93 version better than any other dub that would come in the future.

My question is this: Was the original English dub from 1993 ever transferred to dvd? I want to get a dvd of the original English dub, since I don't use vhs anymore.

I used to love eating Mega Lunchables when I was a kid in the early 2000's, but I don't think they are sold anymore. Are there any stores that still carry them, or a web-site where I can but them online?

I want to get some drinks, but wonder if they exist or where I can get them. They are:

1. Chocolate or birthday-cake flavored schnapps (I know a birth-day cake vodka is out there but I like schnapps better than vodka)

2. Skittles-flavored anything (I think you can make a home-made skittle vodka by fermenting skittles in a vodka bottle, but can it be purchased pre-made?)

3. Pre-made mead? (You can make it yourself but I want to just buy it)

For a few days now I have been snorting my nose out of habit. I don't think it's allergies. My snorting is embarrassing because I do it in public and it sounds rude.
