  • Can I put a Body Kit where it doesn't belong? Oh my!?

Yahoo Answers usually hasn't been helpful in the auto area, but I was wondering if there was a smart person out there who could tell me how easy it would be to fit a 2000 BMW 3-Series body kit on to a 2000 BMW 7 Series.

They seem to essentially be the same car, just one is heavier and longer. So it doesn't seem like too much of a problem. I know it's possible, since anything is possible. But if anyone knew on a scale of 1 to 10, 1 being it would fit perfectly, 10 being I'd have to completely mess with it, remold, resin, and chop it up, to make it fit. If say, I had to extend it, I know body shops can do this, I've seen body shops do this, would anyone know roughly how much they SHOULD, keyword being should, charge me for it?

  • Why does my bass keep blowing out?

I drove an 00' Pontiac Grand Am, blew out the bass. I now drive a 01' BMW 7 Series... the bass blew out. I temporarily drove my dad's car, turned down the bass, and played some CD's... I turned the bass down almost all the way down, and the bass STILL blew out after 2 hours.

I never was into buying 3rd party speakers for cars, because I just look at it as a stupid ghetto thing. But I do listen to a lot of rap. And things are getting costly here. I have a 5.1 setup on my computer, and it shakes the walls, the bass has never blown out on it, so I'm not understanding why car speakers are always blowing out.

I think it's time to educate myself on Speakers, considering I'm going to be spending a pretty penny on replacing them. Would anyone know any good links or anything that would educate me?

P.S. Any ideas on something to buy for my BMW that WON'T blow out.

  • What's up with my shin?

I was training martial arts without pads, and I really don't know what happened but in one of my fights. There must have been some heavy impact that took place on one of my shins. I didn't really realize anything was wrong but afterwards, I had kind of a delayed reaction and started to feel a sting.

I pulled up my pant leg, and notice the hair, and skin had been ripped off on the front of the shin in an area about vertically the size and shape of my thumb.

It has been three weeks, there is a minor bump there, and a little bald spot on my leg of course which is kind of funny.

But if I feel any kind of impact to my shin whatsoever it delivers excruciating pain that brings me to my knees. It sucks because if someone just brushes up against my shin I end up sitting there, tending to the pain for a good 5 minutes before I can continue.

I've experienced bone conditioning and such pain in my shins before. But never like this, and never for 3 weeks. Anyone familiar with this, or know why?

  • How Could This Possibly be an E-Mail Address?

A friend and I were in my house and I watched another friends attempt to sign in on MySpace on my computer. We watched as he apparently seemed to type in the wrong email address and watched him type it in over again. He typed in "sugar@721.hotmail" -- This obviously must have been the reason he couldn't log in to MySpace. Naturally we try to correct him on proper email address format.

We corrected him to "sugar721@hotmail.com" this must have been what he wanted to type but it did not work.

He argued with us. I told him I'd jump off of a bridge if his original way would work. My friend told him he'd eat the grass in my front lawn if he was able to log in with his original way also.

So the guy is trying to log in to MySpace again with, "sugar@721.hotmail" and my friend and I just look at eachother and contemplated what a dumbass he was.

He types his password and hits enter "Enter." He successfully logged in with that email address.. we couldn't believe it. How is this possible?

  • What would be the best wine to pair with a PB&J sandwhich?

I just wondered if anyone maybe had some good ideas on optimal pairing of a wine and peanut butter and jelly sandwhich, make that a sandwhich with grape jelly. It's always something I wanted to know.

  • Is there a good way to ease the pain from conditioning?

I do lots and lots of martial arts training(Capoeira) and spar a lot of people from other martial arts. I like to kick people's legs out from under them a lot. Which I've noticed has taken a toll on my bones, and I know they are naturally going to be conditioned and get harder, but is there any way to ease the bone pain/soreness until then? I have my leg wrapped right now which helped a lot. I also have pain from being kicked in the ribs and hamstring area, which has been a little more intolerable than I expected.

  • What's the best way to advertise for Martial Arts classes?

I'm starting Martial Arts classes at a local gym. It's not a very well known art like say, Tae Kwon Do or Karate. What would be the best way to get people interested and get them through the door? I primarily am looking for a demographic of about 14 and up. What and where are some good places to advertise. Flyers and stuff are obvious but they don't seem to bring about a good return, or maybe I'm not putting them in good places. I think advertising at Highschools would be good, but I'm not in Highschool anymore, so that makes things tricky.

  • Is there a a place I could have booklets printed?

Are there any good places online where I would be able to have small booklets made, to purchase? I need booklets made around the size of a CD case. I do not want CD case booklets though, keywords are, "around the size." I am going to design them myself, just looking for a resource to pay, and have them printed. If there is also a brick & mortar location I could go to that would do that, that would be great.

  • Looking for places to stay.?

Overall what's a good resource to use to find a place to stay. I know you can rent like little houses/studios and stuff, but do you have to rent them on a daily/weekly/monthly basis? I prefer to stay somewhere like that and pay extra, than say staying at a hotel.

  • How would I make professional CD Labels?

    How would I go about making professional looking CD labels? I've seen a similar question that recommended;

    http://www.discmakers.com/

Which I think is right up my alley but I don't want to make a $300 dollar order for 100 DVDs. Homemade stompers, and Lightscribe are not my idea of professional grade. Would anyone know of a site like theirs that doesn't require such massive bulk ordering?

  • I'm 19 and will be traveling around the U.S. Any loophole around aquiring or renting a car?

I'm told you have to be at least 21 to rent a car. I'll be frequently traveling to New York/California areas, would anyone know of any way whatsoever, I could aquire a car for a week's use. I could just drive but I live in Florida so I really wouldn't want to put all that mileage on my car. If not is there any way I could have someone older co-sign from afar?
