I was convicted of a misdemeanor when I was 17. I went through a pti program and the charge was expunged from my record. This happened in S.C. but I know federal databases are checked in the bcakground checks for real estate licensing as well. Will my conviction show up in a federal database even if it was expunged in S.C.? And can I still obtain the license?

Ok so here's my problem, this girl and I have been talking a good bit and we feel the same about each other but I have no clue what to do for V-day. Every other time I was either dating or single but I don't know what to do here. We have been talking for a couple weeks so I really don't want to try and make anything official this early (even though I know how cute she would think it was because of the day). So what should I do here? I don't want to do much but I don't want to do nothing either b/c I'm not sure what she will expect. Any help on this one? Thanks.

Ok, here's my situation. I am currently a resident of South Carolina but will be attending college in Arkansas for the 2009 fall semester. I have decided now (family health issues) that I want to move back to S.C. and go to school there after one semester out here. Now, I know that financial aid dollar amounts do not transfer between schools but I do know that there is a way to get financial in the spring semester at a separate school after transferring from another one in the fall. I just don't know how that works or how I would go about getting financial aid at the school I transfer to for the spring semester. If anyone has an answer to this, please help me out here. I did send fafsa info to both schools at the beginning of the term. Thanks.

I was arrested for shoplifting a few years ago. I went to jail, and to court where I was accepted into the S.C. PTI program. This is a program that upon completion, the charge is expunged from the person's record. I completed the program, had the charge expunged, and am now in college and wanting to major in Criminal Justice and work in Law Enforcement. When the incident occurred, I was young and dumb which, I realize is not an excuse but it was just a stupid thing. I want to help people the same way I was helped. Will it do me any good to major in this field? How will this affect my future career opportunities in law enforcement? Thanks.

Do pell grants depend on the cost of the school you're going to? Otherwords, do you get an amount based on the cost of tuition?

Also, can you get a pell grant if going to an out-of-state school?

I live in S.C. and want to move to Arkansas. I have family in Beebe, Ar and want to go to school there. I imagine that I will have to pay out of state fees for at least 6 months to a year but, how do I get legal residency after that? I am 18 and my parents are staying in S.C.. Thanks

I am in my first year of college. I live in S.C.. I have no idea what I want to do when I grow up, I just know I don't want to be behind a desk, in a suit. I want to move to Missouri at some point because I hate this place and I would like to actually see all 4 seasons in one place, in one year. All of my family lives in S.C.. I feel like I am wasting time in college right now because I have no idea what I want to do. Any suggestions, help, ideas, or experiences?

Ok...somkeless tobacco looks and smells disgustion and it can harm people in many different ways. Why do people use it? Is it suppose to give a high or something?...This is a serious question...no answers about how it can harm. I would never do it and am just wondering why others do...

Ok...I live in S.C.. I want to get out of this state and go somewhere like Missouri, Arkansas, Iowa, or somewhere in that area. I am a freshman in college now but I have no idea why I am here. Why do people on this forum always push the issue of neutering? Use something other that to keep the population down please. There are other ways to make animals not be able to reproduce ie. tubal ligation of vasectomy... Besides. Neutering can cause all kinds of problems including but not limited to: Anesthesia shock, pain, infection, personality changes, doubled risk of urinary tract cancer, even increased risk to reverse vaccinations. So, Explain PLEASE....

Has anyone heard the new Memphis shallow mount subs? How do they sound?

Off of one amp? Have two subs on already. 1000w Kenwood amp with two Alpine subs. I want to add one more (if possible), A memphis audio one. I want it to hit.

Here's my story. I'm 18 and I just had/have Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever. My lymphnodes had swollen up and wouldn't go back down so, I went to the doctor. I also was dizzy and had headaches all of the time. He sent off blood and it came back positive for RMSF. He gave me a perscription for it and I finished it out. My nodes are now down but I still often have headaches and get dizzy when I get up from sitting or lying down. I am starting to get worried that it could be meningitis. This may just be my crazy thinking but I just wanted others opinions. Thanks for your help in advance.
