So, I think I have the exact opposite dilemma of other teenagers.

I eat way too much.

I'm just wondering if there is anything I can do to prevent myself from consuming so much food? It seems like when I try to cut back, I just end up eating more.

I'm not overweight (I'm around 5 pounds underweight for my age, but it's due to my metabolism) but I have been gaining weight like crazy. It is partially due to the fact that I recently started a job at Subway last September, but also because my metabolism is starting to slow as I become older. If you have any tips for me to stop myself from consuming so much, it would be greatly appreciated. ^_^

Also, trying to "trick" my mind hasn't worked for me thus far. (i.e. drinking ice water to "fill" my stomach and stuff like that)

I recently read both Macbeth and King Lear and I was wondering the following questions. If you would like to answer only parts or certain questions, be my guest. I'm simply curious as to what others think/how they interpreted these plays. (:

1) How does Shakespeare expect readers to react to the world views (typically nihilistic) presented?

2) Is Shakespeare's ultimate message that life is meaningless? If so, what do we do?

3) Why should we, twenty-first century citizens, read these plays? What do they say to us?

So I just passed out about an hour ago at school. This is only the second time I have but the last time was only about 2 weeks ago. My prinicipal thinks that I might have some sort of illness like anemia. I just have two questionss. [:

1. Is there any way to stop myself from passing out?

2. Would there be any reason to go to the doctor? [The nurse at school thought I should probably go.]

I know a girl who says that she is a "follower of Christ". If anyone asks if she is Christian, she instantly retorts that she is most certainly not because she doesn't have a religion; she has a relationship with Jesus. I feel, however, that this is not right. I can't really explain why, but I don't appreciate when she gets angered because someone assumes that she is Christian. Could you please explain why you agree with this girl (that you'd rather be a follower of Christ than have a denomination) or why you agree that she should not push away being called a Christian?

So, on Sunday June 27, my family is leaving for a vacation to Seattle!

We are going to be staying with a family friend and she already has tons of stuff for us to do while in Seattle but we need ideas of what to see/do on the way there.

We are hoping to arrive early Wednesday morning so we will have time to settle in before seeing Eclipse [:D] which leaves us with about a full day to just see sights while on our way [it should take roughly 1 day, 15 hours to get there].

We are hoping to travel through Denver, Colorado and other than that we don't have much planned. So I need some suggestions! Please and thank you! ^_^

Okay so a tooth in the back of my mouth [[pretty sure it's the wisdom one]] has been hurting really bad. My cheek just got really swollen a few hours ago and I checked out the tooth. It is the very back tooth and part of my gum is growing over it. I don't know what's going on but my mom is gonna call the dentist in the morning, I was just wondering if someone would give me a heads-up on whats going on??

So, I'm 15 and turning 16 in September. I'm looking for a car with these things in mind:

~I'm not sure if I want a car or a truck....

~if a car, I want something sporty

~if a truck, I would like somethin big and pimped out haha(:

~preferably less than $25,000 and made in 2005+

I want to write a book but I have no idea what to write about!

I'm more into writing fiction: things like Twilight, The Mortal Instruments series [[btw, if you haven't read the Mortal Instruments, it is a very fantastic series!]], and Harry Potter.

I'm a freshman [[high school]] and all of my friends are talking about what they're going to major in in college already. I have NO clue what I want to do!! So I'll just tell you what I like and you can give suggestions k? (:

--I *love* animals and I think being a zookeeper would be kinda cool. What sort of college classes would I need to take for this and about how much do they make an hour/a year? Also, please let me know of other careers I could pursue dealing with animals. (FYI-Veterinarian is out for me because I wouldn't be able to deal with those poor animals ):)

--I'm looking into physical therapy. What are my options?

--I took a graphic design class last year and loved it but my teacher told us that people are starting to design their own logos (and whatever else graphic designers do) by themselves because of the economy. Would it be worth it to major in graphic design?

--Music is a passion for me...I mean, I love listening to it but I can't sing and instruments aren't my thing. Any options in the music with those restrictions?

--I was thinking counseling for substance abuse or something like that but definitely not a school counselor.

--Writing consumes my life most of the time. I love writing fiction novels. I'm thinking I could just do that on the side along with my full-time job..let me know if you think this is possible please!

--I would love to travel around the world but I have no clue what kind of jobs I could do in order to travel all the time. Maybe be some sort of critic?

--Mentioning critic above, I remembered that food critic/show critic is also up on my list of goals to achieve in my life but could I do it fulltime?

She's four weeks old but is very small and I have only see her drink milk. My sister says she saw her eating a little bit of the wet cat food we put out for them (we got two kittens). The person we got her from won't take her back because she has lots of cats so I really need to know what we need to do so she won't get too weak or possibly even die. Thanks in advance =]

OK one of my teachers is absolutely clueless as to what goes on in her class. She is a very nice person but I don't think she should be a teacher.

Examples:

She gave us a worksheet for a book they had two years ago then graded it and almost everyone failed because we had no idea what the worksheet wanted from us.

We were talking about bacteria and she made a reference to 'villains'. We all said we didn't know what she was talking about and we got reprimanded for not paying attention in class.

I pointed out that she was spelling archaea wrong and she told me not to backsass her because she is the teacher and I am not.

My friend asked her where she wanted his absent work and she told him to go sit down. He said "I'll just leave it here" and she gave him a lunch detention.

She puts up notes on the board for class discussions and makes our class write them down, yells at other classes for copying her notes.

These are just some of the things that make us all crazy during class. My friends and I think she is really messed up and thinks that we are all discussing the same things in every class but she gives different examples and ideas to every class. As for the unnecessary lunch detentions and things like that, we have no idea! Any help dealing with this?
