  • Touch up paint not matching.?

I'm trying to touch up some scuffs on some of the walls on our new house. The previous owners left the paint cans they had used so I know I am using exactly the right color. In rooms that have lights, it looks great, you can't even tell....but as soon as I open the curtains or in the rooms with daylight you can see the spots all over the walls. Will this fade or dry more after a few days?

  • Have you seen this flower pot?

I'm trying to find those large flower pots/planters that look like the have fallen over and the soil and flowers have spilled out. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? I have seen them once and can't remember where. I could always just turn one on its side and make it, but these have a flat bottom/side so the soil stays in place.

    Thanks :)

  • Amway Arena Seating Chart?

Does anyone know how the seating works at Amway Arena, Orlando? For example, is section 113 DD closer to the floor than 113 K? I heard the double letters were closer, which makes no sense to me.

  • What kind of milk can you give a baby in an emergency?

We live in FL, where we are prone to evacuations and such. Our son is now 14 months and off formula. If we lose power or evacuate, what can we give him for milk? Powdered? Evaporated? We have emergency rations for ourselves, but want to make sure he'll be fully stocked, too.

  • 1 year old not wanting to eat...?

I'm having a hard time getting my 13 month old to eat. His ped. is having us wean him from bottle to sippy cup with milk, and also away from purees.

He does fine with juice or water in his cup, but does not want to drink his milk from it. With foods, he wants to feed himself but he just never eats enough. When I try to feed him foods with a spoon, he covers his mouth and pushes my hand away. I've tried mixing his purees with chunky food, all sorts of different foods, the Gerber Graduates, etc. About the only thing he eats consistently is YoBaby Yogurt, dried apple bits, and Gerber veggie crackers.

He's started waking up around midnight wanting another bottle, so I KNOW he's hungry (he has slept through the night since 3 months).

I'm not sure what else to do....

*he's been 95% height and 45% weight since birth, so he always looks skinny....he just doesn't have the weight to lose :(

  • Baby Trend High Chair?

Does anyone own this chair with the 5 point harness? My MIL bought us a used one for a back-up at her house and it has "replacement straps" that aren't attached. We can't figure out how to attach the crotch strap. There doesn't seem to be anywhere to hook it except underneath the chair, but there isn't anywhere for the strap to fit through??????? I can't find this chair in our local stores to compare......

  • Who would get custody (IVF)?

If a woman used donor eggs (from her sister) and her husband's sperm to give birth to a child, would the man then have any greater legal rights to custody in a divorce since "genetically" the child is his?

Let's assume both parents are equally fit for custody.

  • Spouse not willing to adopt?

Has anyone dealt with a spouse who was unwilling to even talk about adoption as an option? We did IVF with my sister's eggs and had a son and we will try again in a few months but we only have one embryo left, so our chances aren't great. I am wanting to look into adoption if it fails but hubby won't even consider it. I was just wondering if anyone else had been in the same situation where a spouse or partner had changed their minds about the subject?

  • Car seat fit in airline seat?

Has anyone flown with the Evenflo Triumph DLX carseat? To fit in an airline seat, it says it should be less than 16 inches wide. The base is, but the arm part is much wider. I was wondering if anyone has flown with this type of seat for their baby? Southwest?

  • Flying with an infant?

If we purchase a seat for our 10 month old on a domestic flight, does he need any sort of ID of his own?

  • Does anyone own the Mia Moda Cielo Stroller?

I can't find it in a store to check it out, before ordering it. How does it fold up? Like an umbrella stroller or a flat fold? Is it very bulky like a full size stroller when closed? I'm hoping it's very compact for easy traveling? THANX!

  • Other options besides crib?

This may seem like such an dumb question. My 9 month old is very long (95th%) and when lays down to sleep and even in his sleep he is EXTREMELY restless and spins on his back like a clock. Being so tall, he bumps and kicks and wakes up all the time or he gets 'stuck sideways' in the crib. The dr. gave me the ok to put his bumper back in but that didn't help. I've looked at round cribs, but they are not much bigger.

Is there anything else out there that a baby can sleep in?

  • Black spot on baby's gums?

My 8 month old has a small black dot on the underside of his top gums (where his right back molars would be). He's just gotten his bottom two teeth, so I hesitate to think it is related to teething....he shouldn't be getting those back ones for quite some time.

Any ideas as to what this might be? I don't know how long it's been there.... since it is so far back and on the top of his mouth I only saw it today as he was laughing while laying down.

  • Best way to put baby down for nap?

My 6 month old is at a stage where he hates going down for naps. He used to fall asleep anywhere... his boppy, playmat, swing, bouncer, my arms. Now the only place he wants to nap is in his swing. He gets so tired and frustrated but when I put him in his crib, he start banging his legs and works himself back up to being totally awake.

We don't have any problems putting him to sleep at night. He gets his bottle, some rocking, and put in the crib. He's just too smart for it to work during the day!

    Ideas, please?????

  • Constipated Infant?

I asked this the other day, but I'm hoping to gather a few more answers...

My 6 month old son is on Good Start Natural Culture powdered formula (which is supposed to be most like breastmilk) and always seems to be constipated. At first, I could add my own breastmilk and that helped, but I am no longer able to pump.

I have done everything the dr. suggested.... dark Karo added to the bottle, cut out the cereal, apple/prune juice and water daily, pureed prunes, bicycle the legs, no bananas or sweet potatoes.... The only thing that ever works is the liquid suppository BabyLax, which I DO NOT want to have him become dependent on that. The last suggestion from the dr. was a soy formula, but after researching it, my hubby and I would rather not use that.

Any other ideas I could bring to my dr.?????
