my son had a doctor appt last week and they weighed him and he was 15lbs and 25ins long. according to charts thats the size of a 6month old. im afraid he's going to be too big i dont agree w/ the size chart i know several babies who were not 12lbs at 3months like the chart says they should be.so much does or did your baby weigh? [my baby can still fit his newborn clothes]

i just want to know has anyone else experienced this.....my 3month old has brown eyes not dark or light but ever since he was 1week old i've noticed his eyes have kept getting lighter. and so have others, i kno his eyes havet finished developing yet. has anyone else noticed that in their child? [[i just ask because his brother and dad have brown eyes but his dads dad has hazel green eyes and i want to see if my sons eyes are going to be the same]]

hi all i was wondering has anyone tried this working for him thing??? i keep finding jobs on legitiment sites such as career builder and yahoo hot jobs i would think they verify the jobs to make sure they're not scams so im wondering do you guys think this is a good option. it would be easier for me since i will be taking online classes next semester and have a baby to take care of and not many jobs in my area w/o a degree that im working on since last august. heres the link www.jobslegitonline.com does this look dependable to you guys? its only 40$ to pay but i hate to lose money i guess im cheap well not but i hate to lose money and especially now that i dont have money to lose.

...ok so i have an almost 12 wk old and he'll turn 3months 5days b4 christmas. so my question is what do i get and request for a 3month old baby he cant sit down properly yet so not really a little play center that requires sitting. I have books for him he enjoys them but i think hes getting tired of them already! and i love clothes absolutely love clothes so should i request that...? should i get toys for him?

I KNOW THIS IS THE WRONG CATERGORY BUT THERE ARE ALOT OF NURSES OR PPL IN THIS FIELD WHO ANSWER THE PREGNANCY QUESTIONS ok im going for medical assisting in college but i just recently had a baby so im unable to graduate in dec of this year as planned so im thinking of going for respiratory therapist come january since its quicker to finish just to get a job and support me and my baby....then go back for nursing. please help thanks....how much do they usually make and is this something to go for just as a start up plan???? and how long is the program averagely i know different schools have different times but i'd just like the average. i haven't contacted the school yet.

how manhy people have seen the movie 2012...how many of you believe its going to happen. this may seem like a weird question but to me its serious i believe no one can predict when the world is going to come to an end. but scientist are constantly trying to like they want to die soon or something. idk but i just had my baby 10wks ago and i want to raise him and see him grow up go to school blah blah blah.

ok well i've filed the papers for child support for my son, but i dont know my ex's address so i put down his mothers address hoping that she would give it to him i'll find out in a few weeks, im wondering is there a free site where i can look up someones address??? and if any body has dealt w/ child support how long will it take for the process. i put the papers in 5 weeks ago as of monday and my son is 6wks, they said by the 6th wk which is upcoming wednesday i should be in the system. well how long after that does it take for the child support plus i have to establish paternity since he wasnt at the hospital. thank you all and please on HELPFUL serious answers

is there a website to find out how much a 1 month old is supposed to weight and so forth? i've tried googling it but cant find anything. i need the month to month weights to make sure my son isnt too big or too small

ok my 1month old son has an appt thursday of this week i've been givin him similac formula and he's been getting these tiny bumps on his face i asked a nurse last week about it she said newborns get it so i left it alone well they've gotten worst so has anybodies baby gotten those bumps on their face if so what did u do to make them go away. and dont ask why im not giving him breastmilk i dont produce please no rude answers im afraid i've given my baby something that has made him sick. i've stopped giving him similac and give him good start now.

does anybody have a baby who is anemic or had mild anemia. he had an abnormal test result i go to the doctors tomorrow w/ him and i have to show the doctor the letter i just recieved in the mail. so the doctor office is closed now and im too worried to wait til tomorrow. i want to know if theres a cure or medication for this will he have to take it.is it really bad i know i had iron defiency during pregnancy.

ok so they say to wait about 6 weeks for it to heal down there but did you ever get used to having sex again??? and was it better. im so terrified i had my son almost 2 weeks ago and wondering whats it going to be like. i hear people complain about the pain way after the recovery time. i barely want to use the bathroom because of it, it doesnt hurt anymore and im not as uncomfty as before but im still scared to do anything. afraid it will tear or i'll be uncomfortable. man or woman who has had experience w/ this i need help. men as far as how did it fell for you and your wife/gf.

my 9 day old is conjested and has been for a few days i went to the stupid hospital and all they said was give him some nasal spray and take it back out. well i did that and hes still conjested. he's already gassy so i can i get rid of this.

i just had my son sunday and they checked his bilirubin levels once it came out high but the blood exam said he was fine. now my son has light yellow skin not all over but in his face and his eyes are slightly yellow. the doctor said yesterday shes not worried about it, it can go away but she gave me another appt in a week to see if its gotten worst. im basically paranoid about the whole thing now and want to know how do i get rid of it. during my pregnancy i found out late that i had iron defiency so i was told to take iron pills, so i dont know if its because of that, that his liver isnt functioning proper....please help

im 39 wks on tuesday and today i woke up and i kept having a cramp in my lower abdomen. and also a shooting pain in my thigh for like a few seconds. i've been getting the pain in my thigh for about 2 days now and as of wednesday i was 1.3cm dilated. and 50% effaced the baby was already low but i was told he dropped again theres alot of pressure when i sit down like im hurting his head. anyways i've been having the bh contractions for at least a month now but since last week it was every hour and now its about 3 or 4 times in 1 hour but its just today that im getting the abdomen cramps that spread across my hips and hurt for a maybe 30 seconds im using the bathroom alot (number 2) fyi....sorry tmi. but did ANYONE FEEL THIS RIGHT BEFORE HAVING THEIR BABY???? the reason i havent gone to the hospital is because my doctor told me i wasnt ready yet and im not bleeding or anything just having that stomach pain in and out i've had it 4 or 5 times during the past 20 mins.

i know for some its been awhile but please try and remember im going to write all of this down in my journal so i can remember what it was like during pregnancy.

im 38 wks and 2days pregnant so its almost time to have the baby. i've noticed that my stomach has gone down alittle and im not worried about it because i know hes a big baby and is healthy. at my doctors yesterday she said the baby dropped some more and im 1.3cm dilated and 50% effaced does the fact that the baby dropped have anything to do w/ my stomach looking a little smaller and lower??? and my bra doesnt sink in as much as it did weeks before.

ok so since 3pm i've been having these contractions at first they were like the regular bh ones i've been having so i just relaxed like normal before but they've started to come every few mins and my lower back is only hurting a little but not badly. and these two days when i went to pee theres been alot of pressure down there. i dont want to get the contractions confused so what i want to know is how were your contractions compared to your bh contractions??? saturday i was in the hospital for bleeding but we were ok so they sent us home and i was still 1cm dilated. since the contractions are starting to get closer but no back pain and no broken water how close am i to having actual labor if you can tell???? thanks people

im 38 wks preg w/ a boy i've been certain about the names, my childs father and i arent together when i got pregnant we weren't but we've known each other for 3 years almost dated for 1yr and half you get the drift. he hasn't been supportive through out this whole pregnancy to me it seems like he cares more about me than the baby

every time we talk its rare that he mentions the baby, i've only seen him twice during this pregnancy mainly because i moved, and like like `1hour and 30 Min's away. but when i saw him he didn't ask to see the ultrasound, he was holding my stomach but that's about it oh and tried to have sex w/ me. which i was upset about because how dare he treat me like sh*t and then try and get what he wants out of me.

we talk on the phone occasionally since i moved again, its always have you had your baby not our baby, he had the nerve to say i should name the baby after him, which i think that's a privilege and someone should earn that honor and he hasn't. im considering not even giving my son his last name until after he's born and he proves he can be there and actually love this baby. should i give him my exs last name or just give him the one i want????

does anyone else get their braxton hicks contractions every hour??? it wasn't like this before so im hoping this means labor is near. 38 weeks pregnant and nervous 1cm dilated 0%effaced going to the doctor today and wednesday to see whats going on with me. im also scared to be having these contractions i went to the hospital saturday for bleeding and while they were monitoring me and the baby i had a bh contraction and noticed the babies heart beat went down, if its like this now w/ just the bh how is it going to be w/ the actual labor contractions which are much stronger????

im 37 wks and 3ds preg, and when i used the bathroom and saw blood in my underwear. i wiped and it was there not a mucus like i've already lost my mucus plug. i've been feeling the baby moving around and i dont have cramping but what can this blood mean??? is it part of the pregnancy. he's moving around as i type

can you use a ruler to measure how big you need to be fully dilated??? im using a ruler and according to online research 1cm= 10 mm. im trying to picture how far dilated i am can i assume that this is correct??? im ready to have this baby but while im waiting i'd like to boost up the dilation process
