I've been to two the mars Volta shows (bedlam and Goliath and octahedron tours) and the intro music, as in what they play as they walk onstage, is the same. Anyone know what the song or sound byte is from?

if everyone from R&S just got together and got really drunk and had a mass discussion on religion. i think way more things would get accomplished.

i'm a total noob when it comes to philosophy but i was wondering what exactly existentialism was and how religion plays into that... if i understand correctly, existentialism says that morals can only be determined on each persons own experiences in life, but then since religion is more of a rewards basis and you dont have that experience does that mean that existentialists are all atheists or agnostic?

sorry someone said that at work today and i thought it was funny.

i think that a couple of framed x-rays would make some nice art. any idea on where i could find such a thing without spending a whole lot of money by going to the doc and getting him to do it?

i tried to use evp once in my home and actually captured a voice saying my name. now all sorts of weird crap is going down. i hear voices, lights turn off and on, and i hear footsteps in the hall. i'm not afraid of spirits but is there any way to close the porthole once opened (if in fact i did open one).

i got rear ended a little while ago and went to drive it the next day. i noticed that the engine was steaming and started to overheat. after that i had to start adding fluid everyday. i changed the thermostat and now it doesn't overheat but today i was adding fluid and noticed that it was leaking out of the top of the engine (possibly the water pump). is there anyway that the accident could have caused the problem with the cooling system. keep in mind that the guy who hit me was going fast enough to cause his airbags to deploy.

i don't understand the concept of heaven. either you don't have any free will (which sounds more like hell) there so your happy all the time, or you have free will and your miserable due to lack of strife... eventually you would get bored if everything was perfect.
