I know the story regarding the existing 633 N. State location, with it being in the SAME place but having been rebuilt b/c of the condo complex. However I KNOW (or at least I think I do) it was a few blocks down or around the street in the early 90's.

I asked their Management but got the "Rebuilt never moved story"-- am I thinking of another place?

HELP I've got a friendly NON MONETARY wager on it.

Thought of Gloss (too girly), Tips-n-Toes (too common), Palm-n-Soles (not edgy),

The upside: She's single, nice, friendly, well educated (grad degree), pretty, in good shape, has no children.

The downside: She's like 40 years old. Most people her age have gotten married, had families and now are either divorced or happily married, either way a good 'mature' dating scene where someone might be interested in starting a new life with a 'middle-ager' is what she seeks. She also needs to get a job.

P.S. She ONLY likes WARM weather and places that have eligible Bachelors who are NON Anglo (go figure!)

I saved an extremely ill kitty last summer and now she's losing it. Brief medical history: she was cured of cuterebra when she was 6-10weeks and is fine now (she's almost 9 months). She's had all of her shots but has not yet been spayed (appointment for 1st week of April). Although she is as cute as she can be she is becoming a terror: 1) has totally destroyed custom sheers, 2) scratched my hands, 3) gets on the toilet (we try to remember to keep the lid closed) to drink water despite her bowl having fresh food and water daily, 4) today she managed to jump into the kitchen sink-- a pretty high jump. I know everyone these days is against declawing, but I'm beginning to rethink it.

Does anyone know WHY she's doing these things? and WHAT I can do to correct her behavior?

1. The company which issued the check REFUSES to make it payable to me;

2. I can NOT open another business account ANYWHERE; and

3. Ironically, the bank the check is drawn from is the SAME bank where I have an account.

I was wondering if perhaps I could put a d/b/a on my personal checking acct-- although the bank (a major bank) said I just need to get the check reissued but the issuing company refuses.

Modern society dictates a guy (especially- but also a girl) should 'sow his (her) wild oats' before being 'locked down' again (regardless of how much the guy prefers this type of relationship). Obviously the woman shouldn't wait for him as he may or may not return... They don't know each other really well, but believe they have found 'the one'. Would you throw caution to the wind and 'go for it' or suggest each go their separate way, remain friends and revisit a more serious relationship in a few months (or longer); and in the interim, each will casually date (i.e. enjoy casual protected sex). other people.

The daughter lives with the mother (4 years now)-- she had a business that didn't do well due to $ issues-- people not paying and she not using $ properly (saving, etc) when they did pay.

Daughter can't find a decent paying job but when she did have $ from the business, she spent it on the mother-- who NOW says she rather had been given the cash. The mother CONSTANTLY insults, ridicules, taunts all in the name of 'I just want live your own life'. The mother's credit was damaged as a result of helping the daughter too.

PS the daughter constantly seeks employment to no avail, i.e., over qualified or appearing not qualified enough when her resume is 'dumb downed'. Daughter is single w/no dependents.

I am curious to know-- beyond the obvious (#7) and the generic definition as it relates to life (in general). Hopefully I've given enough information to get a detailed response or direction towards that end.
