  • Death and disability mortgage insurance?

My husband and I just bought our first home. Now we keep getting mail from all different companies saying that we qualify for this 'death and disability' insurance. It sounds like a good thing to have, in case one of us dies or is disabled, but o we need this insurance, or is it a scam?

  • Puppy potty training with a bell?

At first, I had the bell up high and I would personally ring it when it was time to go outside and potty. Now I have tied it to a string where my puppy can reach it. She knows how to ring the bell - that's the problem! She just wants to bat it, bite it, and play with it. We go outside and she potties, then immediately starts playing with the bell again. She is an 11 week old toy poodle. I know that she's really young, playful, and easily distracted, but I wanted to start out on the right foot. I've read articles on bell training, and I'm trying to follow them. But if you are someone who has had success with the bell training, please tell me exactly how you went about it, and about how long it took your dog to figure it out. Thank you:)

  • Questions about my toy poodle puppy?

My neighbors and I both have 11 week old toy poodle puppies. Theirs is 2 days older than mine and weighs 1.8 pounds and has a short, kind of stubby nose. Mine weighs 3 pounds and has a longer, pointer nose. I think their poodle may be more of a tiny toy, but she makes my puppy look giant. What should an average weight of an 11 week old toy poodle be? And I think my poodle's face looks more poodle-y with her longer nose. What is the standard for nose shape?
