Should I split up from my boyfriend?
I've been with my boyfriend for 5 years. We met on a blind date when I was 18 and he was 19. He wasn't the type I would usually go for but I thought he was a nice guy. Two years later we go engaged. Honestly, the engagement didn't feel right. My parents thought I was too young and I didn't feel ready myself. Both of his sisters recently got married at that time and I think I just wanted a wedding. Also I felt there was a lot of pressure to say 'yes'. To postpone the wedding I said that I want us to have our own place first.
Six months ago we managed to move into our place. His sister is now constantly asking when we are going to get married. She doesn't know that I called off the engagement a few months ago. I admitted to my boyfriend that I don't want to marry him. He told me that his sister told him that I want to marry him and that's one of the reasons why he asked me. He's always playing on his Xbox, his personal hygiene isn't great, he's 4 stone over weight due to not exercising and not eating properly,I'm not sexually attracted to him and we've got different interests. I know that he loves me but I don't think I love him(romantically anyway). My family thinks he's a nice guy but they don't think we are very well suited.
2 AnswersSingles & Dating5 years agoDoes this guy like me?
There's a guy at work and I'm not sure whether he likes me as a friend or he fancies me. He usually creeps up behind me and either pinches my waist, shoulder or knee, or he tickles me. He usually raises his hand for a high five. I have occasionally noticed him looking at me. Sometimes he ignores me.
I've found out that he's on a dating website and I've managed to track down his profile. It says that he wants to date a girl who is in her mid twenties to mid thirties. I'm in my early twenties. My mum says that I should ask him out for a drink but I'm very shy and I'm scared I'm going to get rejected.
He's Hungarian and I've been told Hungarian men like to make the first move. Also, apparently Hungarian men tend to like sweet natured, petite girls with dark hair and eyes.
I don't whether he's just be very friendly or he wants something more.
1 AnswerSingles & Dating5 years agoShould I stay in my 'dead end' job?
I'm currently working as a cleaner in a warehouse which I've been doing for just over six months. Beforehand I was unemployed as I struggled to get work after finishing college. There are pros and cons with this job.
Pros:
●Relatively close to home.
●Pay isn't too bad.
●Friendly work colleagues.
●I get to work alone.
●Working evenings.
Cons:
●Not fulfilling: The warehouse is in operation 24 hours and nothing stays clean for long.
●Quite boring: I need some mental stimulation. I'm not much of a domestic goddess and I feel my skills are better suited in a different role. I've got qualifications in business admin; I'm competant when using a computer and I would ideally like to work in an office.
●I'm currently working seven days a week. I don't have a lot of time to see my family. My work colleagues think that it's not right that I don't get a day off.
I want a career. If I stay does that mean I'm not ambitious? Some employers don't like job hopping so should I just grit my teeth and get on with it (which I'm currently doing).
I've done a lot of voluntary work in the past. This is my first paid job. I'm in my early twenties.
3 AnswersOther - Careers & Employment6 years agoHow do you deal with someone who is difficult to live with?
I am currently house sharing with my partner's family. My partner's sister has become increasingly difficult to live with. As a person, she is the strong minded/dominent type and I will honestly say that I don't know how her husband can tolerate with her(in a polite/non offensive way). I generally like her and we do get along it's just she has been recently blaming me for stuff I haven't done. What's even more frustrating is that when things don't go according to her plans, she has a tantrum (slams doors, stomps her feet on the stairs). I think her behaviour is highly unacceptable for someone who is in their late twenties.
I'm trying to be as calm as possible towards her but it's becoming immensely difficult.
3 AnswersFamily7 years agoHow can I encourage my boyfriend to spend less time on is xbox?
My boyfriend spends a lot of time on his xbox. Occasionally it's from 4pm, when he gets home from work until 11pm when we go to bed. I don't mind him playing on it for two/three hours, it's just when he spends all night playing on it. When I try to talk to him he usually ignores me and if I tell him that I'm going out he responds with 'oh, so you don't want to spend time with me then?'. I'm not spending time with him because he's too focused on his xbox. If he has played on his xbox for two hours I usually suggest that we watch tv together but he ignores me and continues to play on his xbox. Whilst he's on his xbox, I normally go on the laptop but after two hours I tend to get bored. In addition I can't concentrate because he prefers the volume to be loud.
When he's not on his xbox he treats me really well and I love him dearly but I don't know what to do.
Also, he has got a bit of a personal hygiene issue. He rarely brushes his teeth and he smokes which makes his breath smell even worse. He needs to wash more as well as he works outdoors and especially during warm weather, he comes home soaked in sweat.
2 AnswersSingles & Dating9 years agoHow can I stop my guinea pig from nibbling my clothes?
My eleven months old guinea pig has got a habit of nibbling my clothes. I initially thought she was trying to tell me that she's hungry so I tend to give her a slice of cucumber or some lettuce. However, after eating the cucumber/lettuce she goes back to nibbling my clothes and if I give her some more food she ignores it and continues to nibble.
Its quite irritating because she has ruined some of my tops and on a few occasions she has managed to nip my skin.
Are there any other ways I can try and get her out of this habit. I don't think she dislikes me because every time I talk to her, call her name (Blossom) or stroke her she makes a purring noise. I've done a bit of research on the internet and it mentioned that if a guinea pig makes a purring noise then it is a sign of affection/enjoyment.

10 AnswersPolls & Surveys10 years agoWhat is the name of this film?
I watched this film(only a part of it) about 10 years ago when i was 8.I can remember a man wearing some sort of ragged dress, had bulging eyes, dreadlocks and had really long nails. It was in a house(i think) and two people ran upstairs and hid in a wardrobe. The man came in,went upstairs into the room which the two people went in and couldn't find them, so he stuck his sword into a bed.He then saw the wardrobe and stuck his nail through the wardrobe. The wardrobe doors looked like air vents so that's why he could stick his nail through the wardrobe door.He then pulled his nail out and blood ran from one of the 'vents'.That's all i can remember and I've tried looking on google but have had no luck.If you have any ideas or info i would appropriate it,thanks.

1 AnswerSingles & Dating10 years agoWhat name should i give to my guinea pig?
I've recently bought a guinea pig, who is the spitting image of my previous guinea pig,Sandy. The reason why i named my previous guinea pig sandy(who passed on 5 years ago due to a stroke) is because the colour of her fur was similar to the colour of sand.I'm finding hard to give her(my new guinea pig) a name.
-She's got light ginger and blonde fur.
-Quite quiet and very affectionate.
-Surname is Mundy
If you have any ideas i would appreciate it,thanks.

3 AnswersSingles & Dating1 decade agoWhat can i wear to a wedding reception?
I'm aware that i've asked this question before but i didn't get a lot of answers.Next month i'm going to a wedding reception and i haven't got a clue what to wear. The last time i went to a wedding reception i was 7 and i wore a yellow dress with white sandals, but i'm 18 now and obviously i can't wear that.
If you've got any suggestions i would appreciate it.I'm a UK size 6,4ft11 and have brown hair/eyes with very fair skin.
BQ: Do you think a 'little black dress' would be inappropriate to wear to a reception?

When i was 13,whilst on holiday in Cornwall with my family,i stepped on a weaver fish. The pain was excruciating. The worst part was,the lifeguard told me that the best way to get rid of the poison was to walk on it.Honestly,i give credit to any woman who's experienced childbirth.
