  • How long did it take for your period to return after having a baby?

And did you breast feed or bottle? And how was your period, like crazy heavy, normal, or light?

  • If a kid had a fever two days ago and was coming to see your 3 month old would you be ok with it?

I mean I don't really know how long stuff stays in your system and really don't want my little guy to get sick because the last time he got sick it was horrible!

  • When your baby is sleeping around 5 hours at a stretch at night do you wake up in between to pump?

Or do you just let it go? I'm getting to the point where my son is starting to sleep longer at night and I don't know if I should or shouldn't. Just food for thought.

  • Baby keeps detaching during nursing?

My son has been breastfed since birth. He's now 10 weeks. He doesn't like staying latched on during some feedings. I don't know what to do! It's driving me crazy! He gets mad because he's not getting food fast enough (though he'll end up with milk all over his face), usually he doesn't cry at all, just keeps pulling off and then reattaching himself. It usually doesn't hurt, but some times he won't loosen his grip and just pulls off. I feel like this odd feeling is affecting my milk supply (though I'm not completely sure). What can I do? I have talking to lactation people and they weren't very helpful. Anyone else have something like this happen? What did you do about it?

  • Does your baby do this when they have a growth spurt?

I know when my son is going through one because he just wants to be at my breast a lot! I have to keep switching him back and forth sometimes 2 or 3 times until he falls asleep. Other times he's fine. He might not even eat from both breasts before he's full. So how do I get through the growth spurts?

  • Those of you who have more than one child?

How far apart are your kids? What made you decide to space it that way or was it an accident? Do you wish the space was smaller or larger than it is? Was/is it really hard to have two kids?

  • Breast feeding moms with kids who have a dairy sensitivity?

How old was your baby when you figured it out? What were all the signs that you had? Did your baby have problems gaining weight or eating in general?

  • How to get rid of water retention after having a baby?

So I'm trying to figure out if I still have some swelling or if it's just weight gain. I desperately want my wedding bands to fit. I have a pretty fat ring with the engagement ring, wedding band, and anniversary band all soldered together. I want them to fit! I had my son 2 months ago on Saturday. I gained 43 pounds, but am down at least 28 from the last time I got weighed. So is there hope it'll fit on it's own or is there anything else I can do? I'm breast feeding so the weight is coming down, but I know it takes time. I just want my ring to fit!

  • Please help! Loosing confidence of breastfeeding?

My son will be 8 weeks on Wednesday and for what seems like a week he keeps having these extremely fussy times when it comes to feeding. He's been passing gas a lot today and some yesterday, but he doesn't seem to be bloated or anything. He didn't poo at all today (well very small amounts a couple of times), I feel like he's to young to be worrying about teeth, and he seems completely fine until it comes time to lay him on his side to feed him. It happens at least one in the morning and once in the evening. I don't know what to do! I try massage for his belly and cycling (just in case it's gas), I've tried to swaddle him to make him more comfortable, I've tried to steadily tap his back while he eats to try to distract him, I've tried talking to him, and I've tried pumping in case it was a to fast/slow milk let down. Is this something I should talk to a lactation person about or a doctor? I'm getting to a point that I'm afraid to feed him because I don't know if he's going to completely freak out or not. I'm almost on the verge of tears when my son has a melt down and I just don't know what to do! Please help and don't say give him a bottle.

  • How long do you wait before you worry about constipation?

He hasn't yet pooped today and it's been 24 hours since his last poo. He's got a lot of gas and is breastfed, Any suggestions and advice would be great. He's almost 8 weeks.

  • My son keeps getting incredibly fussy at one feeding in the morning and one at night?

I don't know who to talk to about this, but he will take on drink and then scream, but what makes him stop is to put the nipple back in his mouth and the cycle continues. It doesn't matter what side he's on (he's breast fed), I've tried giving him a massage to help relieve gas (because that was one idea), I've tried undressing him because maybe he was hot, and the only thing that does work is just stopping and getting him to go to sleep or just get him distracted by something else. I need help because it breaks my heart and it's been going on for a week or more now and it's 2 times a day every day. :(

  • Would you use a breast pump that someone had given you that they had used themselves?

I was offered a new pump from WIC, but since I already have one I feel guilty taking a free one, but have never been fully comfortable using the one I have already since someone else had used it before me. They did boil everything and sterilized it all before they gave it to me.

  • Is it bad to take my 7 week old to the dentist with me?

My husband will be up all night at work so he'll be only having a small amount of sleep and he doesn't handle that being tired that well with the baby. More than likely he'll only sleep through the whole time, but what do you think?

  • My son seems to get the most gas at night while in his crib?

Anyone else get this? He farts a lot in his sleep. I think it's funny and was wondering if any other momma has this entertainment.

  • Is it weird that my period started in the 6th week after having my son even though I exclusively breast feed?

I was just wondering because I thought I wasn't going to get it for like 6 months!

  • So can someone give me some tips on when a diaper is to small?

So my son was born at 9 pounds 7 ounces so he's been in size 1 since birth. He's now I would guess around 12 pounds and he's 6 weeks old. The diapers seem to be leaving lines around his legs, but maybe I'm just putting them to tight. But he's not leaking out of them pee wise (but I'm changing him probably every 2 hours), but he's had 3 blow outs in the last 24 hours with 2 different brands of diapers. Also it sits pretty on his stomach, but that's where the poop is coming from it came up his back twice and out his leg once. Any help would be lovely!

  • If you look strait on your new born can you see their soft spot as a little sunken?

My son is 6 weeks and his soft spot has been pretty noticeable for about a month now. I didn't notice it for the first couple of weeks, but now it seems like it's always a little sunken. Should I be worried or is this normal?

  • 6 week old baby questions?

So my son doesn't really take a pacifier he'll take it if he's that up set only sometimes. So I feel sometimes he will use my nipple as a pacifier (he's breast fed) it doesn't bother me that much except at night when I could be sleeping stead of having my son just nibbling on my nipple and not actually eating. Is there anything I can do about this?

Also what are ways to have him sleep better in his bassinet? I feel like he's either up every hour or something not even that at night and with my husband working nights this is taking a huge emotional and physical tole on me. I don't have any family around for help so it's just me and my husband, but these long nights are making me feel like a bad mom since neither of us are sleeping much at all. Thanks
