  • Have you had success dieting, without exercise?

So, I've been looking into different diets and they all say the same basic thing in a slightly different way. Diet and Exercise. Not being the exercising type I decided to make my own plan with no exercise and no starvation. After looking through a ton of posts on this Answer board, I keep seeing the same advice parroted (not just by bots) all over. Diet and Exercise. In some cases though, only exercise.

So, if you have lost weight without exercise, let me know how and what was your experience.

In my case, I started around 240 lbs. My diet was chicken with sauce (gravy, curry, red pepper paste, etc.), and veggies over a bed of lettuce eaten three times a day. For my snacks I had fruit, oranges, bananas, pears, etc.

My weight lose is currently at 35 lbs since I started my new lifestyle in the beginning of February. It's not meteoric. It's been gradual. I also have never felt starved and I often over indulge in my new favorite meal or other foods.

Has anyone else gotten this sort of result without stepping foot in a gym? I'm thinking that exercise is completely overrated compared to diet.

  • Is Rite-Aid at a good prce for a long term investor?

Rite-Aid has been down recently due to last years purchase of Brooks. Prior to this the CEO had brought it back to a profitable organization. Can she do it again? And is it at a good price for a long term investment?
