I thought i was done bleeding as of about a week or so ago but on monday i started bleeding again but its dark and brown (sry tmi) what is this?

My son is six weeks old and up until last Friday he has slept great but now he cries every night usually around the same time for a couple hours. He will fall asleep but then wake up with in a few minutes. I know he doesn't have colic because he stops crying when being held and walking around or being sung too. I was told it is impossible to spoil a baby his age by holding him but i'm starting to think i was given some bad information. What can i do to get my son to sleep?

its not really a sore throat but feels a little hard to swallow like something is stucks there and its getting really annoying does anyone know what this is?

My little guy is three weeks old and I love him more then anything but i kind of miss being pregnant. I know that sounds very strange especially since when i was pregnat all i could think about was not being pregnant anymore! I guess i just miss the little things like feeling kicks and hiccups and all the nice little things. does anyone else feel this way too?

My son was born Oct 2nd 2009 and its getting colder here its usually in the 60's and i was wondering how long i should stay strictly at home with my son and not leave the house with him?

I am trying to decide if i should just go on the Pill or get an IUD. I deff want more kids so i want to make the right choice and not mess my chances up.

Should i get a non hormonal IUD or just go on the pill? The pill gives me headaches but not to bad of ones. I heard an IUD can cause future fertility problems and I am def planning on having more kids so i want to be sure that, that is not a possibility.

I had my son 10 days ago and i am going to be getting an IUD at my 6 week check up. I have been hesitant about getting the IUD and keep going back and forth on whether or not to get it. I heard there is a small chance that it can leave you unable to have more kids because of scar tissue and i am wondering what side effects and problems you have had with the Copper IUD and if you know if it can cause fertility problems.

My husband and i both agree that we want our son immunized (he is now 9 days old :) ) but we want to wait to start the shots till he is 6 months old and we want to break the shots up more then they are now, we want no more then one live virus at a time..has anyone else waited to vaccinate there baby?

My son is exactly one week old. He had trouble breastfeeding because he would always suck on his own tongue. We use a nipple shield and my dr told me to pump after like 15 minutes of pumping on one side i usually only get about 2 oz..but this is about 20 minutes after feeding my son for about 10-15 minutes. Is this a normal amount to pump at this stage..or is my supply low?

My son sucks on his tongue when breastfeeding so i was given a nipple shield at the hospital but i would like to get a second one that i can have in the diaper bag. Does anyone know where i can find another one? Also is it bad for me to exclusively breastfeed with the shield? Will my son get the adequate amount of milk?
