Is it really that bad working as a server at restaurants?
I m thinking of applying to some restaurants near me that are hiring servers. I m a college student and have some customer service experience. I thought that since I m having trouble finding positions elsewhere, at least working as a server would give me some more experience multitasking. I m been told its not a good idea and that it would be hard. What do you guys think?
3 AnswersFood Service5 years agoTo be an elementary school teacher do I major in Early Childhood Education or Liberal Arts?
I've wanted to be an elementary school teacher for a very long time, and thought that to do that I should major in Early Childhood Education. No one corrected me even after I visited a private college and expressed my wish. Then last fall when I decided to sign up for classes at a community college. I spoke to a counselor and she said that I needed to do Liberal Arts instead. I'm not convinced and would like to know other opinions. Please include whether you are a student, teacher, or just where you got your information. Thank you and God Bless.
3 AnswersTeaching6 years agoWhat price should I put on my purebred pedigreed New Zealand whites?
I'm thinking of raising rabbits, but I want to figure out if I can actually turn a profit. It doesn't have to be big, but I figure that I should know this now. Yes, I know that I should figure out how much it would cost to keep the rabbits, but I want to know just what people think is a fair price, or what the price is in your area...etc. Please don't just tell me it's difficult to make a profit. I know this. I'm just asking what you think is fair. I've raised rabbits before, but I was much younger, and didn't have to pay for the feed then. Thanks to all answers. God Bless. :)
4 AnswersOther - Pets7 years agoHow do I brush up on my appearance before highschool graduation?
I don't have much of a tan, and even then it's a slight farmer's tan. (I live on a farm. Go figure.) My facial complexion is naturally reddish with acne and black heads. Also the dog knocked me over and I messed up my legs as in they have sores on my shins and knees, and no matter what dress I wear, all of them are going to show my shins. Also my nails don't look the best. However I was thinking about clipping them, and then painting them. I have blue, green, and pink nail polish. Which color/colors? (My dress is either going to be white with all sorts of colors, green and yellow flowered, or green layers with purple flowers.) Thanks.
2 AnswersOther - Skin & Body7 years agoWhat dress should I wear for my highschool graduation tomorrow?
The dress code for my highschool graduation is the standard cap and gown with girls wearing dresses/skirts and dress shoes. I'm trying to decide what to wear and wanted some outside opinions. I just bought this really cute dress so I'm wondering. I have long brown hair that I'm planning to wear down, and a light complexion except for my face which is slight reddish and I have a slight farmer's tan. (I live on a farm.)
1st choice; A cute yellow and green flowered dress. It's not silk or anything fancy. It's made very simply, has short sleeves, and goes down to my knees. My sister, and aunt both wanted it, but Mom had already gotten it for me. I'm debating about giving it to my sister because she seemed to like a lot more than I do. My grandmother thinks that I should wear this dress.
2nd choice; A sleeveless green layered, and purple flowered dress that goes down below my knees. It's a bit heavier in material, but it looks more dressy than the first dress. It might also be very slightly big on me.
3rd choice; My last choices are all pretty much white with lots of bright random like color patterns. One of them has only one sleeve.
Which do you think?
3 AnswersFashion & Accessories7 years agoAfter out of college, I want to get a bird. What should I get? A conure? A cocketial? What do you think?
I'm not going to be out of college for years, but when I am I was hoping to have a bird for a class pet and a pet for me. I would want one that I could teach to talk. I know that parakeets are somewhat hypoallergenic, but my experience with them is that they are kind of hard to bond with. Also in your recommendation, could you please include what caring for the bird would entail? Thank you. :) God Bless. :)
2 AnswersBirds7 years agoIf I were just visiting an area as a tourist or visiting relatives or something, could I get a library card from that area? Or would it not?
be allowed due to the fact that my address would be rather far away. I'm just wondering because I think it would neat to have a library card from some of the places we visit when we go on vacation. A cheap souvenir so to speak. What are the rules for this? Has anyone ever done something like that? Also could you provide a link or at least a where you got your information. Even if you put experience or something it would be helpful. Thanks to all, and don't say it sounds dumb. Just nice polite answers, please. Also I'm in the U.S.A.

I could use a little help. I can see that neither of these questions have been answered. Is that why?
2 AnswersMy Yahoo7 years agoBabysitting Insurance? Getting a full-time babysitting job? Where can I get insurance? How much does it cost?
I'm going to be spending the next school year and the following summer working as a babysitter to earn money for college. I will be working in someone else's home. What kind of insurance do I need? How much approximately would it cost? As in if I would need to drive the kids to school, or even just working in someone's home and there was an incident of some sort? Any answers, thanks. :)
(Also I'm going to get certified and I plan on taking life guarding courses)
4 AnswersInsurance7 years agoSmall pets that could live in a space no bigger than a 10 gallon tank?
I'm looking into getting a small pet this summer. It can't be a bird, reptile, or any type of rodent. It has to be able to live in a 10 gallon aquarium. I'm open to suggestions.
4 AnswersOther - Pets7 years agoCan someone give me their opinion on whether Emperor Scorpions make good pets, and information about how to care for one?
I'm considering getting an Emperor Scorpion. I know that they are docile as scorpions go, and I know that I shouldn't pick one up unless necessary. I've been doing some research, but any help is appreciated.
