  • Is this a pickleweed plant?

I'm not sure what kind of plant this is. I've had it for years. I know it could "thrive" more, but I'm not sure the care for it since I'm not sure what it is. Any thoughts?

  • Having some bad 'divorce' days...can't seem to shake the sadness, any tips?

We've been separated about 1 1/2 months now. We had wonderful years of dating, then almost 2 years of marriage hell (no abuse, just money problems, and his severe depression). I'm grieving so badly for those good years and I have my good days and bad days.

I did something lame tonight and texted him 'How are you?". He texted back "Doing great, how are you?" I responded with, "Doing good, just missing my husband though."

Dude, wth?! Why did I do this?! I feel so guilty for doing it, but I've had 3 really bad 'divorce' days. I'm just so emotional. Any tips??? I've been doing really well with MAKING myself go out and reconnect with my gal pals, but when I get home and am alone, that's when it gets rough.

  • How long have you been separated and how are you doing emotionally?

I've been separated since May 29th. I have my good days and bad days, but the hardest obstacle is doing everything on my own and not having a companion around all the time. Not that we were getting along in the end, but you get used to your spouse being around you.

    How are you doing??

  • Merina side effects anyone? Chronic dizziness/headaches??

    Hi everyone,

I've had my Merina for a while now (7 months). For the last 4 or 5 months I've developed hellish dizziness and headaches. I am a frequent flier at the local ER due to nausea and dehydration. My neurologist said I am having benign situational vertigo and migraine vertigo. I guess I'm not satisfied with that diagnosis. I've gone through the gambit of the ENT, hearing tests, brain MRIs, possible med interactions, chronic pain associations, and now the neurologist's opinion (phew!)...the benign situational vertigo and migraine vertigo is the latest diagnosis (one of many diagnosis..grrrr..they keep changing it so know I'm going out on a limb with this).

I've been reading on migraines and all the possible triggers that can cause them. One can be hormones, mostly oral contreceptives, but the Merina releases hormones over time correct?

I know it doesn't have too many documented side effects, but has anyone else had any of these side effects?

    Thanks for your time!

  • Chronic Myofascial Pain Syndrome/Disability??

I've suffered from Chronic myofascial pain syndrome for a few years as a result of a high pressure/computer demanding job. I've been through the ringer with workers comp (denied me saying the injury/pain is nonexistant) and I've tried my best to stay in my current job (even though it's a huge aggrevator for my pain). I have decided to put my resignation since I physically cannot keep up due to pain. I've tried everything from chinese herbs/acupuncture to trigger point injections heavy pain medication and can't find much relief. I'm so scared about what I'll do for money in order to pay bills, rent, ect. Has anyone had experience with trying to apply for disability for this condition?? Apparently California diability does not see it as a disability so there are many hoops to jump through in order to receive benefits. Please let me know if any 'fellow sufferers' have had experience with this. Your feedback is appreciated!!!
