  • Question about opening up a business?

My husband and I are looking into opening up a male and female strip club in our town. The closest strip clubs to our town are an hour or more drive away from here and we live in a very busy tourist attracted town, and all there are is regular bars. By 10pm every weekend everyone is cleared out and gone to the next town because there is nothing exciting here after then. We figured it would bring more business to our town as well. Also, I do not believe there are any male strip clubs anywhere in the state. So we would like to rotate out days where it is strictly men some nights and women some nights. I have considered getting a business grant but I am having trouble finding a website with our states rules and regulations regarding bars and clubs. Also, im having trouble finding a legitimate site with info on business grants. Can anyone help?

  • Why does it matter what age I look?!?

Why is it that every time I post anything about my kids or my husband, some idiot on here posts something about how young I look. Like "You look to young to be married" Or "your not even old enough to have kids, go to school" Or something of that sort? I am with the same man I have been with since I was 15 years old, both of my kids were well planned and are beyond taken care of (spoiled rotten) and half of the time when people post these crazy things, it is no where related to my question nor my post. Does this happen to anyone else?

  • My husband says I'm crazy for this. What do you think?

I live in Alabama, and this time last year a tornado came through the city 10 minutes away and flattened the majority of the city. One year later, they have almost completed rebuilding the city and tearing down what is no longer needed or replaceable. One of our close friend's house got taken except for the room they were in along with their 4 children. They lost everything and had to move in with us for a bit. They lost cloths for the kids, diapers, wipes, and just about everything. So after experiencing seeing what they (along with everyone else in that city) went through, when weather gets severe I pack at least 2 days worth of diapers, wipes, cloths, the laptop and charger, phones and phone chargers. I dress my kids and put their shoes on them (one of the things their kids did not have and could not leave the room they were in when the tornado came due to glass covering the entire neighborhood) I also pack my wallet and keys. My husband says he thinks i get a little carried away, but i believe it is a good idea to have 2 days worth of clothing for the kids at least. Am I being paranoid, or is it just good thinking since my kids are only 19 months and 3 years old? MIGHT I ADD, WE JUST BOUGHT A HOUSE IN THE CITY THAT WAS TAKEN LAST YEAR, AND IT SEEMS LIKE EVERY STORM COMES THROUGH THIS CITY. it was our dream house though and closer to my husbands job so we couldnt pass it up.

  • Could this be coming from the PS3?

My husband was playing his PS3 and went to check to see if the Ethernet cable was still connected. When he checked it, he discovered a liquid under it. Nothing has been spilled around it cause we do not eat or drink anywhere other than the kitchen, nor do our kids. And anyways, we have not been here for 2 days and this liquid was still wet and it was turning sticky (the way liquids do after about 2-3 hours) and we have not been here at all today till now. The liquid is very sweet smelling (almost identical to a honey bun) It is not effecting his game play or anything in that sort, we were just wondering if there is anything used inside PS3's that could be melting from heat or leaking out. Anyone have any idea??

  • Research on Strip Bars, (males only)?

So I'm doing research on strip bars and why men go and what they like to see while they are there. I have several questions and would like respectful answers. Please no one be rude and if you plan to be rude, just don't post to this at all.

    1) When you go, would you rather see the girls with a natural look, or lots of make up?

    2) Do you like to see more conservative clothing, like hipster panties or less like thongs.

    3) Do you like for the girls to dance slowly or fast.

    4) Do you like for the girls to act (so to say) whorish or more innocent

    5) Do you like for the girls to smile at you and be flirty or to look you in the eyes and be more sexual?

    6) Also, add any extra thing you like to see, or would like to see. Add pros and cons of the bars as well.

Thank y'all bunches and I look forward to reading your answers!

  • How is this possible with internet connection?

We went to my husbands fathers house a few hours ago. While we were there we connected to his internet using our laptop. I set up a home group network (i still don't really know what that is. all i know is it said i could share media with other computers on it) that way i could share pix of our kids with them. We left, it is about a 15 minute drive (no way we can still pick up signal from their modem) and i get home and open up my laptop and we r still connected to their signal. It still has full signal and i still have access to the internet using their signal. Is this possible, or what is going on. Im confused. Its not a big deal, they don't mind us using their internet, i am just curious on how this is working.

  • German name suggestions please!!?

My cousin is having a baby boy and asked me for German name suggestions. I looked up some on the net, but he was not able to stay on the phone long enough for me to tell him some that i found. I did not like a lot of them, and we kinda have the same taste when it comes to names. He wants it to be unique, but not to out there, and wants it to be strictly German. He asked me cause I have 2 kids and he figured id be some help since ive been through the name deciding process but clearly i was not lol. Please if y'all have any suggestions, let me know. And also, please put pronunciation on names that seem to be hard to figure out what it is cause of the spelling. Thanks!!!!

  • What are our chances of not getting the house after all this?

My husband and I are currently in the buying process on a home. We are both 21 years old and he only has one credit score. That one credit score is close to 700 though. The mortgage company was blown away by his limited credit, age, then the number. I know that's not perfect credit, but he also has only been working on it for 2 years. He has no collections, no debt, no nothing to hold us back. We have been approved 100% through the mortgage company, the bank, the banks underwriters, and then it went to the RD department. We were suppose to close Friday afternoon, then we got word from the RD department that they wanted one more line of credit since there was such limited credit, and they wanted to see at least 2 months worth of payments put into our banking account then we could go on through with closing. I did everything they asked me to and the mortgage company said that since that's all we would need to close then we should be closing Monday with no problems. So my question is, what are the chances of something happening now? We have for sure been approved by everyone including the RD department, they said they just needed those last things in there. Is there a possibility, or should I not be worried and just look forward to closing Monday?

  • 2 questions about the acer mini aspire one notebook?

So I bought a new laptop today. I had a larger compaq but due to a 2 year old and a 1 year old, i found it hard to carry around with me. (in the diaper bag, in my hand, and all together period) I absolutely loved it though. But my 2 year old got ahold of it with a spray bottle of water and now it no longer works. So I figured Id try out the Acer mini aspire one, due to the size, and its a 10.1 inch screen so its not to small but perfect to carry with me. I got it this afternoon, and much to my surprise I HATE IT. and it takes a lot for me to hate an electronic. It is extremely slow, like slower than my virus infected desk top. I takes about 2 mins for a site to load. I have the highest speed internet available so it isnt a problem there. I have even came across a site that said my computer could not process the internet speed. Also, the touch screen mouse pad is VERY tiny and i find my hands cramping up from the position i have to hold them in to navigate and click. Every review i have read, and everyone i know who has one only has great things to say about it. My 1st question is, am I the only one who hates it???? and my 2nd is Does anyone know where i can find another laptop around the same price without the speed issue. (I got it at wal mart for $249 before tax.) Can anyone help????

  • Please don't call me crazy but....?

Since I was younger I have gotten "feelings" about things that are going to happen. I knew if it was good or bad, and around about what was going to happen, but never knew in detail. Examples:

At 15 I told my mom I had a feeling I was about to end up in the hospital but didn't know why. Of course she said "Whatever" 2 weeks later I was admitted into the hospital for a busted ovarian cyst.

After the dr said I was fine, I got a feeling I was going to need surgery. Told my mom, she said "Whatever, the dr said you r fine" 2 weeks later, going in for surgery to see what was going on with my ovaries.

At 16, walked out the front door and my whole body was pulled back to the door as I closed it and I saw a snake in my mind. I ignored it and went on. Was woke up the next morning to my mom screaming bloody murder cuz there was a snake in the hallway.

At 17, I pulled up with a friend at m gmas to stay the night with her. She wasn't home. I looked up and a GIANT owl flew across the yard from the back door. I got an erie feeling and told my friend we needed to leave cuz something bad was going to happen. The next few days was fine but about the 4th night, my gmas house was broke into from the door that the owl flew away from. And many many more things of this sort.

I have always ignored my feelings except to my husband and my mom. They believed I was crazy to begin with but then as the saw my feeings came true they believe me. Now my oldest child is going to be 3 in dec and now he is telling me things before it happens. He told us a friends was sick and the ext week was diagnosed with a lung problem. And told me about a wreck, and a week later saw the wreck just how he described it in town. And my youngest just turned 1 and she will have nohing to do with people who have done bad things in the past. She is terrified of them, but she is a very social child. It is like she can since they have done something bad. Am I crazy? Does anyone else have these feelings? I canttell people about things they ask me. I cant know just anythng I want to. It just comes to me. Its not something I control. Please no rude comments. Im wndering if anone ele has gone thru this?

  • Can u get land payments added in with a building loan?

My husband and I are planning to build a home around Feb or March. We do not have land as of now. We are trying to figure out if there is a type of building loan that will include the cost of the land in it so we can just pay one payment all together. If there isn't we plan to pay cash for the land in Feb, but i we can add it in with the building loan we would like to so that we can use the cash for the land for new furniture, and things of that sort for the new house. I would appreciate a detailed answer so I will know what to ask about when we go talk to the lender. We are trying to get as close of an estimate as possible before we take any action so we will know how to work our finances out. We live on a strict budget so we can get as much for our money as possible, so we want to make sure the payments will not set us back at all.

  • How can I find out payments before making an offer?

My husband and I are looking into buying a home. We have already been qualified through our bank (then wachovia, now converted to wells fargo) Wachovia then, would tell us amounts of payments with insurance and taxes, closing costs and so on. Now I called tonight to find out how much payments on this house we are looking at will be with all included into it. Wells Fargo said all they could tell us is that we are approved and we would have to talk to the real estate agent about how much taxes and insurance would add onto it. I want to figure it all up before we make an offer, before wwe sign papers and before anyone puts any work into it (real estate agent or current homeowners) I want to know we can afford it before we get to much time and hopes put into it. Also, the agent has told me the house has been on the market for a while, and the owners would most likely take a smaller offer on it, but i want to figure it up with the asking price just in case they don't. Does anyone know how I can go about figuring this up, without having other people to put time and work into it? I live in Marshall County Alabama. The house is right on the Marshall and Etowah County line so Im not 100% sure which county it is considered. Please help out!!!

  • Why do people get scared when they hear this?

People pick up my daughter and play with her all the time. No worries for them at all. Then they ask her age, I say going on 13 months. Then they ask, "Oh! Is she walking yet?" I reply with no. They ask, is she crawling? I reply with no. Then I get a funny look and that's when I reveal to them that she has spina bifida. They then slowly sit down with her and work their way to either giving her back to me or sitting her in the floor to play. Even after I say she is fine. nothing is effected except a delay in walking. Then they start the questions like, does she have a bulge in her back, no, will she have to have surgery, no, then how does she have spina bifida? Then when she does something to get in trouble and I get a stern voice with her, they say, "She don't know any better" I say, "Yes she does. She knew she was not suppose to do that. " then I mention my older son knowing at that age and they never said anything about me being stern with him and they follow with "Yea, but shes...... different" I understand why they will be cautious after me telling them, but why do they treat her like she is dumb. They hold her like she is an infant, after seeing me throw her around, and upside down playing. They talk to her like she cant understand them, when its clear she can and she talks back. I understand where they are coming from, but why are people so scared of something different?

  • Could my mother and aunt claim this money?

My grandfather died 15 years ago leaving behind 2 kids. My mother and my aunt. While in the hospital he married a woman who done the entire family wrong. She married him while he was not in his right mind, then days after he died, and within weeks she was remodeling his house and then sold it. I was searching on our states treasury site for unclaimed properties and my grandfather has 4 that come up under the company that he worked for almost his entire life with sums owed to him of over $100 each. Not sure on the amount because all it says is >$100. So my question is can my mother and aunt claim that money. I do believe his wife has remarried but im not 100% sure, but even if was or wasn't or was, could my mother and aunt get it if they claim it before her. As far as I know she knows nothing about it, nor do we plan on telling her. I am hoping she can cause my mother and aunt is going through hard times right now, and i feel bad because my husband and I are doing great but don't have any money to spare to help them. I feel selfish so I would feel much better if I could break it to her that she CAN claim that money. PLEASE HELP!!!!!

  • Are you taking your prenatal vitamins?

I am a mommy of 2. A 2 year old boy and a 1 year old girl.October is Spina Bifida awareness month. My daughter, who turned 1 on Sept. 9th was born with spina bifida. Her case is so small it is almost non existent. She has no mental issues, no problems with her arms or her back. However, she can not walk, crawl, scoot using her legs, or even roll from her back to her belly yet because of her weak legs. She is slowly progressing and we hope to have her walking by the time she is 2. We can not find out what caused her to have it, because she is the 1st and only baby on my side and my husbands side of the family to have it. But there can be many causes. One that is a high possibility is lack of folic acid. Prenatals are a great source of that, but I was taking mine and she still got it. It also did not show up on ultra sound. After birth it was overlooked by the hospital, and was over looked by my husband and i till she was a week old. We found a small pit in her back right above her butt. Im not angry at the hospital because it is such a small pit it took a while for me to find it as well. It was an honest mistake made by the hospital. Went to the specialist a week later that's when we found out. So, this really isn't a question, but more of a statement to make sure you take your prenatals, make sure you examine your baby thoroughly before leaving the hospital, cause small things are often overlooked, and make sure you have a diet full of folic acid while pregnant. And remember, THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A SPECIAL NEEDS CHILD. ALL CHILDREN HAVE DIFFERENT NEEDS, AND THEY SHOULD ALL BE CONSIDERED SPECIAL. NEVER TREAT A CHILD DIFFERENTLY (better or worse) BECAUSE THEY ARE LABELED AS "SPECIAL NEEDS"

Any comments are welcome, and if you have a story you would like to share, feel free to. Thank you, and please no rude comments cause this is a serious thing.

  • Am I running low on time??

I am 21 and have 2 beautiful kids. My husband and I plan on trying for our 3rd very soon. I don't doubt that I will get pregnant again, I know I will. But my question is, I started having a period at 9 years old. I got pregnant with my son first try at a month before I turned 18. So I got pregnant at 17, had him at 18. It took 6 months to get our daughter. I got preg with her at 19 and had her at 20. We want to have our 3rd at 22. If I decide 5 or 10 years from not to have a 4th, will I have a lesser chance since I started my period so young. Will it mean I will have less a chance cuz I have less eggs or is the chance still the same till you have no more eggs???

AND JUST TO LET EVERYONE KNOW BEFORE NASTY COMMENTS ARE MADE:

WE HAVE OUR OWN HOME (NO RENTING) WE HAVE 2 PAID OFF VEHICLES, AND CAN AFFORD FOR ME TO BE A STAY AT HOME MOM. MONEY IS NOT AN ISSUE SO PLEASE NO ONE BRING UP MONEY INTO THIS. THIS IS A MEDICAL QUESTION, NOT A "SHOULD I HAVE A BABY" QUESTION.

  • What does me looking younger have to do with me being a mom?

I am 4 foot 11, most 10 year olds hands and feet are bigger than mine, and most say I don't look a day over 16 but I'm 21. I have 2 beautiful PLANNED kids and my husband and I are planning our 3rd. People are rather rude to me about the way I look. They say "You look like your 15, you don't need kids" Even people who know my age are hateful about it. It don't bother me, cuz I know my kids are happy, and healthy, and I know Im a good mom. But Im just curious why people think that the age I LOOK has something to do with weather or not I should have kids? And has this happened to anyone else? PLEASE ONLY SERIOUS ANSWERS!!!!

  • Im a bit confused about a 3rd child?

I have a 2 year old boy, will be 3 in Dec. And a girl who just turned 1 on Sept 9th. My husband and I have agreed to try for our 3rd soon. MONEY IS NOT AN ISSUE SO PLEASE DON'T SAY ANYTHING ABOUT THAT. Im not being rude I just don't want people to throw money up when its not an issue.

I currently have an IUD and plan to get it removed ASAP. There are days where I know 100% that I want to try now. Then I have days where I panic and think it is to soon. It wasn't to soon with my 2 I already have. I got preg with my little girl the same month my son turned 1. So idk why im stressing over it. I KNOW i can handle it, but there is this little voice in my head saying are you sure. I never ever think for one second I shouldn't. I always think, like I said, are you sure. I know it is normal to wonder, and I know for sure I want my 3rd and last soon. But has anyone else questioned if they should have another, and if so how did you get that negative thought out of your head?
