Mom showed daughter photos of male female?

Apparently my 8 year old was asking how boys and girls are different, and why boys can't have babies, and why don't boys get periods.

The mom showed our kid photos of male and female Anatomy.  The drawing type of photos and tried to explain to get about the how boys have a penis, and girls have a vagina. How girls have an egg, and boys have sperm.

I am not okay with this! I think she is way to young to see any anatomy photos, and doesn't need to hear about how a boys sperm have to fertilized the egg.

I need advice!  She is only 8 1/2

Why does my son constantly do this loud vocalization?

He starts it and gradually gets louder.  Its a vocalization..  Not quite singing.   Butbjuat consistently gets louder.

I have headaches often and this sound is hard to tolerate.   I ask him REPEATEDLY to be more quiet.   He gets mad when I tell him I need it toned down.Hes 7..  So should be well beyond making babyish noises

How to punish kids for bad behavior ?

I am a middle school teacher and my students always do naughty things like putting pins on my chair or throwing garbage at me while I am teaching. Their peers encourage it and I’m lost on what to do. This makes me pretty frustrated as I am lost on how to punish them. I threatened them with a belt and I got over 10 emails asking me to stop scaring their child. This is meant to be a punishment, not a thing to spook them! How do I punish the kids effectively without fault?

My 12 year old son does not like me teaching or tutoring him or reading with him. Is this normal  ?

My youngest son who is turning 12 years old in two months does not like me tutoring him. He finds my style annoying according to him. I am into details so I like to explain in detail how things turned out the way they did in a story. In Language Arts, I explain to him in detail the differences so he can understand things more clearly. Is it normal for kids or boys his age to show disinterest? My son is not good at reading and comprehension. This might explain why he finds my details boring and reading, in particular, a chore. Math is easier for him to understand. Are 12 yr old boys not interested in bonding with mom? My eldest was a quiet boy and he was a good student. There was no need to tutor him. Our bonding moments were board games, travel, movies, and eating out. My 12 yr old son would rather play Roblox and Minecraft with is classmates.

When kids send letters where do they go?

Kids send letters to “Santa” to “The President”, “The Mayor”  to “Miss USA” to “The Pope” , “The Easter Bunny” and such.

Where does the post office deliver such letters with just a title on the letter such as President, Santa, Miss America or something like that?

Where do all those letters go? Who reads them?

Where do cars 🚘 go to be put to rest? What happens to old cars?

Our car got creamed by a drunk driver in the parking lot while we were in the store. The entire front end was destroyed and mangled.

They towed the car away, and mom says that the car is going to be put to rest. Where do cars go at the end of their lives?

Do they get set out in a beautiful place somewhere where they can Rest With flowers 💐 placed over the damaged parts of the cars?

Is everyone who walks the grounds of the auto graveyard pretty? The tow people are nasty 🤢 and ugly and I don’t want them to be the ones who put our car to rest.

Does it go to rest in a pasture?

Wow, this is a sad set of circumstances, for sure! I am sharing with you, an article that has some good advice, its decisive for young children, but the principles apply at all ages, and as he has failed to really learn these early in life, I would suggest that you go back and learn these points as a parent and try enforcing them in your young man. There are links at the end of this article to other articles that should help with good advice too. I know you are at your wits end, but if you don’t start trying to really get through to your son now, things will never improve for his future. He’s learned some bad life habits so far in life, yet I’ve seen and heard of stories of such young ones improve. Hope this info is as helpful to you both. I’m placing the link to the article at the end here. Keep in mind that there are other articles related to circumstances that you need help with, for him, at the bottom of the articles link. Hope these things help you. Hope this info helps you both, have a wonderful day! :o)

My 8 year old seemed to snap. I need advice?

I have an 8 year old daughter. She always has been very good; even as a baby, she never fussed or cried. My wife and I recently went through a divorce, and I'm starting out with someone new. My new girlfriend and my daughter seem to get along very well, and my daughter has been doing so well throughout the divorce, the move to live with her mother and going to a new school, and just all the changes in her life overall. However, yesterday she seemed to suddenly snap. We were at a carnival, and she wanted a candy apple, but the candy apple stand was closed. Normally, she just would have accepted it, been a little disappointed, and moved on. Yesterday however. she was screaming at the top of her lungs, kicking and biting me and my girlfriend, and overall just acting out of control. All efforts to calm her down failed. Why do you think she suddenly decided to act this way over a small disappointment, when she's never acted this way before?

Does your kid behave in stores?

    Favourite answer:

I engaged our girls in learning how to shop when they were little - finding items for me, comparing prices (when they got older), etc. So no.

FWIW, I'd rather have a singing and dancing child than one who is glued to a cell phone screen in the store.

I guess he’s just a little more handful then your average. I am scared to have a 2nd baby and loose focus on him and feel he Requires A LOT of attention & I feel when he sees I start loosing focus on him, the only child he will become more defiant. Any words of encouragement? Thoughts? Thanks!

Any tips how to get a 8 year old to stop being so nosy and obnoxious?

My boyfriend has made it clear that he and his daughter is a package deal. She is not mean spirited, but if she's home when I visit, there is so much of her. She talks. She runs around. Its starting to get too much. I thought I could handle it at first because she is not my responsibility, but when she is around, she really is around. She finds any topic interesting and has questions even if she clearly does not understand what we talk about,

How can parents go to work when their kindergartener has to do remote learning ?

My son is starting kindergarten for the first time in September. We have just found out that his school will be doing remote learning and he has to be online from 8-1. My husband and I both work full time while my son is babysat by his grandparents. We do not have the option to work from home. We are also not comfortable sending him to school so we are glad about the remote learning, we just thought it would be more flexible.

How are parents expected to work if their kids have to do remote learning? His grandparents can't sit with him in front of a computer for 5 hours everyday. They're old and not tech savy. I keep trying to find information but there is none available. Do kindergartener's need an adult with them to do remote learning? I would assume so since my 5 year old can't work a computer. Any information/advice would be great.
