Shouldn't homeschooling be banned without acceptations?

    Hi!

I am 100% for banning homeschooling and here is why. It should be ILLEGAL, no exceptions! If they want to supplement their children's education at home, that is fine, but no homeschooling! The problem with homeschooled children is that they often don't get a complementary education especially on issues such as evolution, sexual education including contraception, acceptance LGBTQ folks, etc., have less opportunities to interact with others and build social skills and relationships. etc. Often times homeschooled children reject common sense science (even Pope Francis has now come out and stated that evolution is real), become homophobic, are at greater risk for STDs and unwanted pregnancy, etc. because their home schooling parents indoctrinate them with nonsense they read in outdated, fairytale books. This is why homeschooling is illegal in many parts of the world. As a Christian, I say that all children must know common senesce science (evolution is a part of that!), contraception/birth control, to accept LGBTQ as human beings and not look down on them, etc. IF parents where actually open minded, then it wouldn't be a problem, However, more often then not, that is not the case. Don't you agree?

If Trump threatens the Supreme Court building be set on fire/burnt down ?

Then you would see how fast the Supreme Court would get serious, not play games, and reverse the Biden decision they just made

Supreme Court justices can play games but obviously a major fraud by allowing Mail-ins was committed in 4 states

If Trump orders the building set on fire in flames it might really wake up the court that they are not playing games and it’s even then

    One party committed election fraud

In self defense the Supreme Court building burnt to ash

Nobody can say this would be unfair ...it’s self defense what else are they supposed to do ?

Should Joe Biden allow parents to homeschool their children??

    Favourite answer:

Trump did. It has always been legal to homeschool. There is even a Trump worshipper here who calls himself Homeschool Produces Winners.

    Kids, loved ones and Covid?

To all of you anti maskers, I'm standing by waiting to see what you're going to do when your child or loved one is on a ventilator. Can't wait to hear your whining and blaming. Because we can honestly say "we told you so".

is there any truth in science?

    Favourite answer:

The only thing you cannot doubt is your own existence. Mathematical truths are true only because they are consistent with the axioms, but change the axioms and the truth changes.

You can even challenge the law of identity, the law that something is itself. If every piece of a boat gets replaced, is it the same boat? and if every piece of the boat that was removed gets assembled into a boat, which is the original boat?

When it comes to science it relies on postulates, for example, that the future will resemble the past, natural laws don't change. Without postulates nothing can be true. Science is true only as long as it predicts the future and is consistent with the past.

Everything we know about reality is also filtered through our brain. We have blind spots in the eyes, and illusions created by the brain. Another postulate of science have been created to deal with it. Scientific truth must be objective, other people must be able to come to the same conclusions independently.

Thus, the fact that creationism doesn't correctly predict any evidence of the past objectively, makes it false according to science. Science isn't always correct, but that is usually the fault of the researchers, not the method. The scientific method cannot be false according to science, just as 2 + 2 is 4.

Will I get into trouble if my daughter fails 2nd grade ?

So because of Covid,  we had to do virtual learning,  but she is struggling so hard ( has adhd and on the spectrum) She whines and cries most of the time. It's so stressful...She gets so frustrated easily..the other kids in the class act so perfectly and finish their work.  I really try my best and help and explain.  So since we been home and she doesn't test to pass , will it be all my fault and will I get into trouble,  like child services?

How can I remote access my child's school chromebook?

I recently became Guardian of my little brother and while I do not approve of invasive parenting in general, his issues doing his schoolwork and watching youtube and social media on his **school chromebook** while I am at work have become unmanageable. He does occasionally have school youtube videos to watch so I can't block youtube and he gets distracted on the internet in general.

Then he lies about what he has been doing all day. I have no plans to do so on his personal mobile phone etc - I just need remote desktop access and control of his school chromebook. **First note- the chrome remote desktop extension does not work, I think his school did something so that it can only connect for one time sessions with a generated code, which will not suit my purposes, so that one is out.I would prefer free, but am willing to pay a monthly subscription if it isn't too much and have no better options. While parental controls would be cool, my first priority is literally just being able to see what he is doing on his school chromebook **from my MAC** in real time. Second, it would be ideal to be able to remotely control it so I can ex out of a youtube tab on his laptop from mine, for example, if he isn't answering his phone - but I can live without this feature if needed. And third, it would be nice to be able to see what sites/apps he has been on for how many hours and at what times and just have general tracking in that way - in addition to live view.

How do I talk to my parents about switching to virtual school?

Hi, I need some advice on how to talk to my parents and ask them if I can do virtual school this year. For the past 2-3 years, I've been attending public school in my county, and I do not enjoy it whatsoever. There is a TREMENDOUS amount of bullying and bad influences (vaping and drugs) that I don't like being around on a daily basis. I am constantly a target of bullying and no one sticks up for me or supports me. I do not fit in well at all, as we live in a country area and I enjoy city clothing styles and "city" music. I also have severe social anxiety, so starting new conversations and talking to new people is nerve-wracking for me. In addition, the COVID-19 pandemic has affected my school system for the worst. Everything is posted online and is extremely confusing and hard to follow. Rather than being able to work on my own pace, I am either having to slow down or speed up beyond my abilities. I have been extremely stressed out for these past couple of weeks and I have been emotionally hurt these past couple of years. I feel like virtual school is my only other option, and I don't mind doing it, either. Staying at home and not worrying about other people tormenting me or making me miserable everyday. How can I talk with my parents about possibly enrolling me in a virtual schooling system?

Would you let your kids play with kids going to school?

We’re choosing to homeschool our children to limit exposure to COVID-19. But our kids play with other select other kids in the neighbor whose parents are planning on sending them back to school. Would you still let your kids play together with them?
