Aperture Mac Program?
I was wondering about the program Aperture. My question is if I do buy it to organize my RAW files, will it replace my photoshop or will I have to use photoshop for more fine tuning details?
Is it worth $300 to use it as a photo editor like photoshop?

These programs have different strengths. Aperture supports the entire digital work-flow, including light to moderate editing tasks, but Photoshop remains the tool of choice for advanced editing.
If you currently use Photoshop and you know your way around this program - and particularly if you've souped up the horse power with plug-ins (Alienskin ..., Power Retouche, Noise Ninja, OnOne ..., etc.), then Aperture will not suffice as your editor.
If you want to keep Photoshop and add RAW work-flow mgt., Phase One's Capture One software might be a better investment. ($100 for the light version or $500 for the pro version.)
