i have dsl 768k but downloading email off yahoo is about 90k can i increase speed?

Yes. But its in your equipment not Yahoo. Its what you do and how its done that gives speed. Some ideas = Don`t use the internet for other things while downloading. Wifi slows down. Don`t surf everywhere while downloading. If you have images, software, songs, files, etc uploading and/or downloading at the same time. That will slow you down.
