Which is a better hotel? Paris or New York New York?

Paris is nicer, and it's also located more near the middle of the Strip, hence easier access to more properties. (And across the street from the exquisite Bellagio, which is a place everyone should visit when they come to Vegas. Bellagio has an amazing atrium garden and a beautiful water fountain show, both free, and they also have a small art gallery for $15 a head or so, currently featuring an Ansel Adams exhibit, although I believe that changes end of May.) I also highly recommend the Paris buffet. People rave about the all-you-can-eat crab legs, but personally I go right for those amazing French desserts =).

NYNY is fine, certainly not shabby. The biggest complaints I hear from guests of NYNY are the noise from the roller coaster that wraps around the hotel, and their pool is not so great... located near their parking garage, and shaded for most of the day.

Play safe, have fun, and wear comfortable shoes!

I personally like Paris better. It's a very nice hotel and it's right in the middle of the strip and in the middle of all the best hotels. Paris is right accross the street from Bellagio... so you can walk over there @ night and watch the water fountain show (a must). And it's close to Caesars, which has good clubs.

Not only those two, but it's very close to where a lot of stuff is going on. I think NY NY is too far from a lot. It's @ the beginning of the strip. So, unless you have everything planned to do right there, you want to walk about 40 mins to get to clubs or restaurants, or you want to take a taxi... I would recommend Paris. :)

I stayed at NYNY and thought it was great. My room was really nice, you had a great view of Vegas terrain and the strip at the same time, the casino was a lot of fun, the Bar at Times Square dueling pianos were really cool, and I liked the location on the southern strip and it wasn't too far away from the hotels on the middle of the strip which are still within easy walking distance, and also liked they way you could walk around the streets of NY inside.

I went to Paris and I didn't care for the casino as much, i think it had something to do with the ceilings being painted like the sky. They had a really good buffet though.

I would say go for NYNY but it's up to you.

It depends what you're looking for. New York New York is upper class, but they have that "old new york" feeling. they also have a roller coaster on top of the hotel. Paris is upper class with that "high class france" feeling. It has cobble stone streets and you can go to the top of the "eiffel tower" for a fee. Personally, I like Paris better because you can get a margarita to go in an eiffel tower, and that's fun. The only complaint I have about them is they have cobblestone floors, and after walking on them for a while they really hurt your feet.

My favourite hotel in Vegas is the Luxor. It's small....but really cool...and they have video blackjack. yay.

I would recommend going on to expedia.com and reading the reviews for more information.

Paris is very nice, NYNY is pretty cool. It just depends on what you are looking for. If you are going to party and club I would probably suggest NYNY. If you are going to gamble or check out shows and relax I would say Paris. Keep in mind that Paris is set closer to the center of the strip so its easier to get around. NYNY is on the strip but not so central? Its hard to go wrong either way just depends on what your looking for.

Definetly Paris. It is much newer and the rooms have more to offer. It is fun to visit New York New York, but the rooms are in need of a little updating.

As far as location, I would say the Paris. I think it is a bit more elegant than the NYNY but I think the NYNY has more potential as far as dining and entertainment. I spend quite a bit of time at NYNY when I go to Vegas. It just depends on what you like and what you want to spend.

I agree with the other: Paris. NYNY is getting a bit run down and Paris has a much better locaiton!
