I wanna see if there are other clothing styles that would look good on me...?

Right now I usually dress in jeans and a t-shirt. Some of my jeans are baggy, but some of them aren't. I don't sag. A lot of my t-shirts are black, but I'm not emo, or a goth. Some of them are plain black, some of them are black with wording on them, like "The ROCK...San Francisco, California" Like that.

I have short black hair, I gel it back. I have fitted caps, those flat ones, and I'll wear those sometimes. I DON'T WANNA DRESS PREP. NO TIGHT JEANS, NO SUPER SHORT SHIRTS. None of that. Oh, and I like the sleeves of my t-shirts to be right around my elbow.

What kind of clothing styles are there for me. I can't afford to buy new clothes right now. I would like a casual clothing style, if mine isn't already. I wouldn't mind wearing jeans and a button down shirt with a t-shirt under it.

One of my summer goals is to TRY to change my clothing style.

PLEASE HELP...

WEBSITES AND PICTURES WOULD BE GREAT!!

Update:

Thanks Idol Lover...I like the jeans and the shirt but not the shoes...

And spicysaucylatina thanks for the site!

I like a lot of the jeans and shirts on there. I've been to an Express store, I just never bought anything.

For a pic of me go to www.myspace.com/officialwestcoasta

And add me as a friend if you would like! ;]

Update 2:

I'm sorry about me being picky but I really wouldn't wear anything preppy.

Update 3:

I'm sorry about me being picky but I really wouldn't wear anything preppy. Sporty casual-ish is something I would start wearing...Jeans, button down shirt. Like I already said!

Thanks to everyone who helps.

Update 4:

Thanks Ashley D...

So far I'm really liking Pacsun...

Does anyone have any suggestions for other websites or stores? I like everything that everone has suggested so far...

I have a question for ALL GIRLS here.

Do you find a guy attractive if he has nice jeans on and an untucked button-up shirt on?

So far, from what everyone has suggested, that's what I want to be wearing. That style exactly.

buckle might have some clothes you will like. they carry a line of clothes called Affliction and it is impossible for a guy NOT to look good in an affliction shirt.

draven shoes are cool too, but a little hard to find. journeys shoes has them sometimes, but they come and go, so you are better off buying them off of a website that carries them.

express is a good one, they do have amazing jeans....kind of pricey, so be careful how much you spend

if you get lucky and have an H&M that has girls and guys clothes, you will find a lot of good stuff in there. its all reasonably priced too, usually about half of what you will find at other stores. there website is useless though, so you will have to actualy go into a store.

pacsun sounds like a kind of store you would enjoy. there is lots of sporty casual stuff in there, and lots of cool shoes. they are a bit pricey but they do have sales all the time. if you need acessories they do sell hats, wallets, bracelets, necklaces (yes, guy type stuff too), hell they even have swimsuits.

now, i would have posted pictures, but shopping is something where you really have to go and look for yourself. what looks good on the rack may not look good on you, what looks terrible on the rack may look amazing on you, so try it on. mix and match. you sound like you have a good grasp on what style is, so now just make it your own. your not gonna find your style all in one store, there is nothing worse when someone is dressed head to toe all in one brand, its like overkill. hope i helped!

OK Hun this is what i think....first of all if you want to be different then go for it there's nothing wrong with that Hun,i would speak to a hair stylist about your hair that way you don't ruin it,i think that your friends are just being this way because they are jealous of your since of style and that they don't have the confidence to do it themselves,i would say slowly convert yourself to what you want and if they are true friends they will like you no matter what you do or wear.....if you worry about what others say or do or want then you will never be happy with yourself because you are allowing them to hold you back from a newer better you once you get the clothes you want and the hair style you want then you will might decide to change your make-up habits and you will love yourself for doing it,and if and when you are all done transforming into the new you and you don't like it then you can always try something new or go back to what you were Hun....keep your head up and stay strong for you not for them.....you will always make new friends through out your life...much luck to you Hun...
