My computer won't connect to the game server...Help?

I've tried many multiplayer online games out of boredom, two of which were Habbo Hotel and GaiaOnline. When I try to play the games on Gaia, it has an error saying I can't connect to the game server. All of my flash player stuff is updated, but it won't let me play them anymore. I didn't use to have this problem, but half the computers I've tried it on, has had this problem. Habbo also said my computer couldn't connect. Would someone please tell me how to solve this problem? D:

Ooh, multiplayer errors are tough ones. I'll try my best, but I'm not a huge multiplayer player, except maybe for Soldat.

    1. Check the connection. Sure, it might be alright at one time, but you know how the internet is. It might be just fine one minute and offline the next. Make sure it's on and working properly, such as by using the internet for a minute or two, before trying to connect.

    2. Turn off your firewall. It's hackneyed advice, and it's rarely been a proble for me when using multiplayer, but it's worked once or twice. Some firewalls are stricter than others, and at least by turning it off first before trying to connect, you eliminate the possibility your firewall is causing the problem(even if you don't have an external program, most Windows come with a built-in one that needs to be shut off in the Control Panel), which is usually what a troubleshooter will ask you to do first anyway.

    3. Make sure it's the latest version, of the game and whatever other program you use to run it (I think Gaia's a web game, so make sure you have the latest explorer. I don't know much about Habbo, and have heard even less about it than I have of Gaia Online).

That's all I can say. I hope it at least helps.
