A 14.01 g sample of N2 reacts with 3.02 g of H2 to form ammonia (NH3). If ammonia is the only product, what mass of ammonia is formed?

    step 1: write the blanaced equation for the rxn.

    1(N2) + 3(H2) ---> 2(NH3)

    step 2: find the MOLES of NH3 formed (remember that the grams divided by molar mass = moles)

    step 3: convert moles to grams using the molar mass!!
