Are you as disgusted with this culture as I am?
Far too many of the people on this site are like flies with their illiterate, ignorant arrogance and crude manners. Its like somebody has left the screen door open. Where do they all come from? I think I know.
I suppose all one needs do it to look at America’s most prominent thinkers - most prominent preachers and politicians - the heads of those two great bastions of social and moral norms, the church and state, and it is apparent that leadership is the problem.
The American church and government have undoubtedly severely degraded America culture. Evolution and global warming deniers come to mind. And leadership’s examples of hypocrisy, hatred, indifference, selfishness and moral turpitude are too numerous to cite. The flies come by it honestly.
The most prominent Christian and politician, the lord of the flies, embodies the intellectual and moral collapse of America beautifully.
And I'm glad my life is more than half over. I have no interest in seeing where this is going

Well, you have good ond bad on this site. Not everyone is totally crude.
I understand what you mean about church and state, but it has been that way for many years. This country was founded on Christian values though. America would not have stood without some norms from the church. But I agree that politics and religion or the church, has gotten to be too much of a power. It isnt about beliefs anymore it is more like a business and a political podium.
But your question is very negative in all. You have to look for the good in life and also recognize the bad. You only see the bad. Your life may be halfway over but enjoy what's left. There are some good things stll left in this country.

I am just as ready as you are to see "the lord of the flies" out of office, but quite frankly I am sick and tired having to listen to people like you whine about it. It doesn't help anyone.
Some people want change - they don't want to listen to a broken record. What have you said here that thousands of other driveling idiots haven't cried about already?
Idle whining is useless. Get out and vote. I am going to, and hopefully so will many others who are like-minded.
